How would you ask a friend out because you would like to be more than friends?

I met this guy last April and we have been talking back and forth as friends only. It is now March of the next year. I think he may like me but I am not sure. Do I ask him out and ruin a possible friendship or do I just stay friends with him. We are both not seeing anyone and he has made it known that the last girlfriend he had hurt him and it is difficult for him to convey his feelings. So, what do I do??? Please help...

I asked a question like this last week on here!!!

In the end I went for it and sent £70 worth of flowers to her and told her how much I really liked her. We have been texting a lot since and I think when I see her next Saturday and I will find out 4 sure what she thinks, But I'm just glad I went for it because its soooooo hard being friends with someone you like more then friends. but in my case it looks like it might work out. I'm not going to say you should tell your friend you like them because that's up to you, just throw some hints and see what happens.

Hello. Well, I think it's time for you to do the next move. Just ask him out and say:"hey, let's go for a coffee. I need to talk to you about something really important that happened to me".
So once you are out there sitting on the table (I would recommend you to wear something kind of sexy) tell him about your feelings, but in a very warm way. Something like: well, I know we are just friends as of now, but I think you are a really interesting guy and I like you. I don't what you think about this, but I just wanted to be sincere with you. If you are not interested it's ok, we will continue being friends. What do you think? :-).
If he runs away don't ge scared, just give him sometime to think or call him and say: hey, I don't want to loose you as a friend.
If he says yes, well that would be great and then you would need to start using your best keys to catch him and drive him crazy. Little by little. Take in consideration his personnality, either if he's shy, extroverted...etc.
I'm sure you are intelligent and will know exactly how to express yourself without being annoying or acting desperate.

If it's difficult for him to convey his feelings to you now, being that you're such good friends, then I wouldn't expect him to suddenly pour his heart out to you in a relationship. However, tell him how you feel - pre-empt it with "I don't want this to ruin our friendship and hope that no matter how you react we can still be friends".....

well... this was never easy but wait a while and let him get over his last girl friend and than ask hm how he feels about your relationship if he says he wants to take a step further go ahead,if he wants to stay friends than stay friends.

well talk to him and say i hope this dont ruin ur friendship blah blah and talk to him that u hav feelings for him as more then a friend or if u hav anouther friend jst hav them ask him out for u i kno i kno a little kidish but it works

you can start talking about love, it's wonderful feelings..and then you can speak out your feelings to him and tell him if he wants to remain only friends it dosn't matter. you should understand that it is quite difficult for him to overcome this event and try to give all the support he needs...and if he agrees then CONGRATULATIONS & CELEBRATIONS...
but i advise you to give him some more time until he gets some hint that you love him

Ask him if he wants to do something friend-ish, like go see a movie with your other friends. Then he may ask you to do something more.

ask him what he would do in yo situation or if you ain't got the balls just stay friends and hope he asks you but with his past i don't doubt thatll happen. good luck!!!
