Family & Relationships - 13 March 2007

Usual, boring scenario. Partner & I lived together, he left me three months ago saying we had different expectations.

But, please guys - this is what I don't understand. He has NEVER stopped contact with me, the longest period of time has been 4 days when I was out of cell range.

He dropped something off at my house the other day, stayed ten minutes and ten minutes later sent a very rude suggestive text. I rang him, asking what the hell he thought he was doing and then he had the audacity to say that I was over reacting, that he didn't want to get back together (I have NEVER once suggested that).

What's going on? He says 'I don't want to get back together' but hasn't left me along, suggests dirty things, says he still cares, tells me he wanted to marry me when we were together. Is it me? Am I going crazy?

I have asked several times for him to leave me alone, but he seems incapable. I think he still has feelings, yes, but what do his actions suggest to you? PLEASE!

Me and my husband filed bankruptcy last year we were able to keep our house so our bills each month some up to 1,200.00 besides eats and gas.we were trullery doing great since the bankruptcy he got a job in the mines i stayed home we had extra money left over it was great well about 1 month ago he lost his job hes not eligable for unemployment and we are already drawing food stamps, he is against me working but he has these standerds as to what he looks for like its eaither the mines or fed-ex ect. things that are not hiring right now and it dosn't seem to worry him at all about not being able to pay our bills i stress all day and caint sleep at night i can barley eat anymore for worrying. because at the end of the month our bills will be due and if we miss our bankruptcy payment will loose our home, he seems to think everything will be fine but how??? he want talk to me about it he say I worry to much and it pisses me off because he dose'nt worry at all.but what else am i to do, i ...

Ok, i have this friend who used to be such a good girl, and now she is a major . . . u know! She cheated on her last bf and then broke up with him, cuz he was "lying" to her! There is this girl i was friends with and really liked hanging out. I never felt the way i felt around her than i did with any other girl. I was really attracted to her personality. Well i asked her out and she said no and got mad at me and said she didnt want to be my friend anymore. Later i found out she likes my best friend and my best friend said no to her because i like her and now she is mad at me and doesn't want to have anything to do with me. The only thing is ive tried to move on and find another girl but i cant get her off my mind and she has even been in my dreams. Im just not really sure what to feel right now....this has been making me feel really apathetic lately

I want to be popular. Its not that I want to own the school, I just want to have cooler freinds and hang out with the cute guys and actually have a social life. I have read like 100 guides on how to become popular in all, they all say the same things.
1.Be clean, smell good, have long shiny hair
2.Be outgoing and funny
3.Be and attractive person, inside and out
4.Be confident
5.Be fit, in shape
6.Be nice to everyone
Not to sound conceited or anything but I am all of those things, so what else can I do? I mean, all the girls who are like this are popular already, so why am I not?

my mother has the worts eating habits out of any one I've ever seen. she eats with her mouth open and makes a ton of noise. I can hear her on a different floor of the house. Even when shes not eating shes picking her teeth and doing disgusting things. It is extremely annoying and I've tried telling her to stop but she just yells at me and punishes me. What should I do?

we have been married for 9 years and a good 7 to 8 years when we arguee he thretens divorce he has said that i am a waste of time the marriage is a waste of time that he does not care anymore he has thrown his ring at me he say that he does not want to be my friend anymore I have caught him in several lies he has packed up his truck and i have begged im to stay I have no selfworth because he makes a good living and i keep thinking that things will get better but the past few years seem like repeats we have no sex life the last time we have had sex was before christmas and he does not kiss me intamently he does truck drives so this does cause some problems and he is a diabetic and he has difficulites getting hard we do not have kids i work for an airline were he could fly home for free when he does not have a load to drive but he does not even do that

So lately I've been hanging out the this girl. She seems really cool. She has two kids, but is divoresed. But she has a boyfriend. She didn't have the boyfriend untill after she was divoresed and all. Her boyfriend hasn't really talking to her anymore lately, so we've just been hanging out, just chillin. I like this guy named Chris and he is really nice and funny. But my other friends don't like him. I don't know why.
I really want to go out with him, but don't want to face the criticism my friends might give me. I want to stay friends with both of them without the harsh feelings.

Okay I like this boy. But they're a few problems. First, he's my neighbor and we're kinda close. Second, he's younger (1 year) than me. And third, I'm not sure if he likes me (Partially because one day he told me he liked someone, only to turn around and tell me he was joking). I saw this question after it had been answered and REALLY wanted to respond. I don't think there is a way to do that is there?

Anyhow, the answer that I wanted to get back to the asker is - the "tradition" of a diamond engagement ring is actually a "new" tradition - less than 100 years old. Thank the De Beers company - aka the diamond producers - for a brilliant marketing plan. They got all the famous people to start using diamonds for engagement rings - and now "everyone" does it.

Actually, the more traditional stone is Sapphire - which comes in a variety of shades. Blue, of course, is best known. But they come in a rainbow of colors.

can you please help me, I need to know what my dream means...It keeps occuring..
The dream:

It starts with my mom and dad divorcing.. I am 16. Then my mom hooks up with this new guy and less than a month after the wedding they get a divorce also. Then my mom doesn't want me to move with her she wants me to live with this new "dad" that I haven't really known because he's only been with us for a month. And since I don't want to live with a complete stranger I tell my mom a lie.."Mom he's abusive, don't make me live with him". and she still makes me stay with him. Then when my mom leaves the house forever the new "dad" says that since I lied and I was a "bad girl" I need some punishment.. so guess what the punishment was? He would rape me. Why does it seem that I am so much more into my girlfriend than she is to me? We've both said we want to get married and the whole shabangkaboom. So what is it? She says i need to give her more space I say she needs to communicate better. She hangs out until friggin 3/4 in the morn at her friends house(a brother and sister) and expects me to be cool with it.
