ok so im friends with this guyy and we hangout alot and someone started this rumor that that we were going out but were not but someone told him that rumor and he thinks i started it and is not talking to him so what should i do cause hes one my good friends and dont want us to stop being friends case of onee stupid rumor....

You have several options.
*Don't be friends.
*Go straight up and tell the truth.
*Hunt the person that started the rumor down.
*Ask him out if you like him.
*Move on.
*Hang out and be nice til things work out.
*try to be attractive and lure him to you.
*unplug your computer right now and go out there and call him and tell him you are so sorry!

ok this happen to me every time you should ignore the kids because they hate you are some thing or their trying to make your life miserable. and you should tell your friend that you didn't started the rumor and you don't want to lose your friend ship over a rumor good luck middle school is a jungle I should know I am in middle school.

Make him sit down and listen to your explaination. If the two of you are as close as you say, then you should not let this stupid rumor ruin your friendship. It is too important to you, for you to lose it this way.

Everytime someone says that calmly say no were just friends! Don't worry sooner or later he will come to his senses its usually easier to chat online with people on their aim, msn, yahoo, or icq! Most of all this drama disappears in highschool

You just talk to him when no one is around and let him know that you did not start that rumor and you don't want to stop being his friend.that has happened a lot to me and that ALWAYS works!!
