can you please help me, I need to know what my dream means...It keeps occuring..
The dream:
It starts with my mom and dad divorcing.. I am 16. Then my mom hooks up with this new guy and less than a month after the wedding they get a divorce also. Then my mom doesn't want me to move with her she wants me to live with this new "dad" that I haven't really known because he's only been with us for a month. And since I don't want to live with a complete stranger I tell my mom a lie.."Mom he's abusive, don't make me live with him". and she still makes me stay with him. Then when my mom leaves the house forever the new "dad" says that since I lied and I was a "bad girl" I need some punishment.. so guess what the punishment was? He would rape me. What does this dream mean? Thanks for any of the help!! ♥

I'm not an expert at interpreting dreams, but it sounds like this connection with your mom is very profound. If I may speculate, you feel like she abandoned you in some way (made you live with the weird dad you you said was abusive.) Perhaps you think that she values romantic relationships more than her relationship with her daughter- you. Divorce usually means major change in life (big surprise) but I wonder how it relates to you now. I'm guess that you think that rape is one of the worst things that can happen to you- and maybe you feel guilty and your mum is punishing you or something. Idk, hope you get some good feedback.

If by "mean" you are asking what it portends....then nothing. Dreams are the result of your mind going into overdrive and creating something of all the synaptic nerves flashing. However, if there are stresses in your life, unresolved fears and things that you don't let yourself think about while you are awake, your mind will, indeed, pull it out to examine it while you are asleep. Only you can tell if you have unresolved feelings that manifest itself in these kinds of dreams.

wow that's rough ! Are ur parents already divorced b/c if they are that might make a bit more sense. (if they are I'm sorry) but anyway it sounds like you're having a issue with the father figure in your life. maybe you should sit down with that person and discuss this dream of yours and any tough fillings. THATS WHAT I MIGHT DO : )

Your dream means nothing. Its just probably something you saw or remember from when ur young and its the thing way back in your head. It could be a co uple of movies you saw a while back just put together and puts you and your family as the main people.

I do not know, but it is very heavy duty. Abusive and a rapist, hard to know. Maybe it is just that, a dream and nothing more. Some times a cigar is just a cigar.

i think you have fear of rape and being abused. and that is probably what u think about every once in a while. i mean i dont personally know what dreams mean, but maybe that could be it..

It means you are afraid of changes in your parents' relationship (whatever they may be). You are concerned that your mom is changing too fast- much faster than your father-- and will leave you behind, to face horrible repercussions.
