1. Giving him a note & then walking off has always been what me & my friends have done.
2. Make 1 of your good friends give him a note, but make sure they tell him it's from you. (Long story made short: I was giving some guy an ask-out note & I forgot to tell him it was from my friend & he thought it was me that asked him out. =\)
3. Walk up to him & ask him. You have to be brave for this 1, but I think it's great when people have enough courage to do it. It shows strength & braveness & not caring for rejection.

one cute one i know of is for a shy guy who you know likes you.. you have to be sure he does though...
if he's shy, just go and sit beside him and have a cute little note saying nothing special except "will you go out with me?" folded up a bunch... then just lean over and kiss him on the cheek and hand him the note when you do it and then smile at him and run away...
it makes him turn bright red but usually has positive results!
now thats cute!

Maybe you should write him a sweet note on a piece of paper that is in red color, then cut the paper in a heart shape.

say you've been wanting to go do something for a while and have none to go with and suggest that he goes with you or just listen to Andrew that's some pretty good advise
