we are meeting up with my sister in Disneyland, I feel like it is a little honeymoon since we never got to go anywhere. My sister is taking my kids who are 18 and 19, they will be staying in her room. My other sister is going with her b/f and their 4 kids. I wanted it to be just my new hubby and I but he wants to take his 13 year old son. I feel bad because his son hasn't been on vacation in 5 years(his mother makes $95,000 a year but refuses to take him on vacation with her), but I really want to have our own room and have "us" time. What should I do?

I was a Jehovah's Witness until I was about 11 or 12. My parents finally decided to divorce and my mom had taken me and my brother away from the religion at last. We could me normal kids and see my moms side of the family again. But my dad's side I have never really seen since. Maybe once or twice. Also my mothers own brother who is a JW told her she was dead to him when they divorced and took my dad's side! All because of this religion. Can I ever move on?

everytime my ex gets mad, he would break up with me even if he wasn't mad at me..he would point something wrong about our relationship, and say he wants to break up..then whenever hes happy again, like the next day or a couple days later he says he sorry for breaking up with me and asks me back out..he broke up with me twice.and last time was 2 days ago well today my friend talked to him and he told her he still likes me and wants to go back out..i really want to go back out with him because most of the time hes actually rreaally nice, caring, and everything..but the only thing wrong with him is just breaking up with me when hes mad..should i go back out with him or no??

My sister is considering divorcing her husband because she has reason to believe that he is cheating on her. The question is, what are the laws regarding divorce? If she initiates the divorce proceedings, can she get alimony from him? And how does his adultery factor in...does she have to have proof? She was told by a friend that it doesn't matter about the circumstances, that whoever is making the most money has to pay the other alimony. How does all of this work? Any insight into this would be much appreciated. Thanks. We live in NC by the way, if that helps any.

I don't want to threaten to divorce him..I'd probably be worse off. I'd be even more financially broke, and I'd have to shoulder everything from bills to kids all alone. But I just don't get his reluctance. He has VERY low self esteem; he can't read well and is not educated much beyond a tenth grade level. He's convinced nobody would hire him; so there's no point in trying. His low self esteem and lack of ambition (or pride?) is causing me to lose what respect I had for him. I love him; but I can't respect himif he won't even TRY. Otherwise he's fine... he doesn't drink, doesn't smoke. is wonderful with kids, not physically or mentally abusive.....he just won't try to overcome his self esteem/pride issues and get a job. What the heck do I do? Due to recent health issues, I can't work for the next couple of months.

In my school, theres this really mean guy named Ray. He's nice 2 everyone xcept 4 me. He's going out with 1 of my friends and i already asked her if she could talk 2 him, but he didn't listen 2 her. All he does is try to hurt me or call me a lesbian(which im not) or something stupid like that. I can't hurt him because i go to a catholic school and they're big on the "no physical contact" thing. I tried telling him off and cussing him out, but it doesn't work. And then i've tried avoiding him completely, but it doesn't work. My next influence is go 2 the teacher and complain. Wat do u think i should do???

We are a couple in our mid-twenties in age, so I can understand wanting to be "out and about." However, my husband is always over his friend's house or he is gone to shoot pool, watch "the game", etc... I can always call his cell and he does answer; I always know where he is. Cheating is not an issue. It's just that I wish he wanted to spend more time with me and our 5 year old son. Am I overreacting? He always comes home at a decent time--it's just that he is gone more than he is at home. He says, "at least you always know where I am!" Compared to some other relationships that I know, he is right. However, I still want what I want and that is for my husband to be home more often. I hang out with my friends probably once every one or two weeks. He hangs out with his 5 or 6 times a week! Am I making too big of an issue out of this--meaning--do couples usually have bigger problems to worry about? He is a wonderful husband and father otherwise.

C. Call her, try to chat, perhaps for a while, call 1 or 2 more times that week or so and chat, and than ask her out.

D. other

I went on a company trip this weekend and even asked him to go with me but he refused. When I came home I was excited to see him and told him about the trip, unfortunately only I got sarcasm and a cold shoulder from him. It's not like I did something wrong and everything was a wholesome company outing...I know he might feel rejected from it but I don't see any reason why he should act like a baby and hurt me in the process. He always have this personality of looking down at what I do and people that I go out with....I don't feel like I need to apologize from what happened.

I feel like shutting my world from him. Do I deserve this treatment in the first place? Make up sex is not even in the vocabulary after how I felt....
