For a while I fell for my oldest friend, Matt, I've been friends with him for 9 years about and he's always been there for me.
lately he's been more affectionate and helpful, I was sick for four days and he came over to catch me up in one of our classes we have together, he's a senior I'm a junior.

So, everytime I see him, he goes to give me a hug or I hug him, he steals my hot chocolate or challenges me to a game, sport or some other random challenge.
We're also very open with eachother, so one day a few weeks ago I asked him if he liked anyone, he said no. I took a chance last week and asked him to prom, I wouldn't have if his sister didn't say that "you stole his heart" to me, b/c of the way he was acting with me. And usually he's quiet with other girls including his sister whose my best friend...
But all he said was "I can't say yes to that just yet"

So I am wondering how someone can lie straight to your face. This guy says he loves me, but he sleeps with other people and tries to lie to me abou it. He fooled me the first time, but never again. He swears up and down, but I had the proof. How can someone be that way??? I really want to know. It is so deceitful, and on top of it he is supposed to be living a honest life b/c he is in AA and working on living an honest life. He will never stay sober this way.

I began cutting about 7 months ago, and my best friend (whos a guy) has tried to get me too stop, but i didnt, and now within the last 3 weeks or so, he just says he dosent care if i cut myself or not, Does he hate me now, or has he just started to think he cant stop me, So he gave up on trying to get me to stop? does he even care if i died anymore? or what is going on, Because i cant stop but i dont need him mad at me.

I have always been in dramatic & abusive relationships. Finally I decided to break up with the jerk and he ended up losing his job as a cop because of assault which just goes to prove that he is physically abusive with EVERYONE. He made me think that I could not live without him. And ashamed as I am I still feel that to some extent. I think about him often and I dont know why cause he has nothing to offer me except cheat and lies.

When he broke up with me last february I had to get away so I moved 6 hours away with 3 of my gf's and had a great summer. When I moved back home I was caught off guard by my currently single HOT neighbour (1.5 yrs single)

I was all about him 4ever. Finally unexpectedbly he stopped by and that was 6 months ago. We have been inceperable since. We both jumped in with 2 feet and talked about our future constantly. I was 100% sure I wanted to be with him 4ever. Whats is different in this relationship is that I have trust in him. He is "nice", genuine, caring and sometimes a little too nice...haha

What I am asking is I feel as though there is something missing now with the new guy. We still spent alot of time together and laugh together but something is wrong. Is my gut trying to tell me something or am I thinking this way from being emotionally abused in other situations.

I want to have my feelings for my boyfriend back again! He's perfect!

My spring break is next saturday, and I was wondering if I should ask this girl and or her friend to see if they want to come with me to Florida, I'm asking some of my guy friends if they want to come with and so far all of them have been saying they can't. So would it be awkward and weird if I asked just one or both of those girls that I'm friends with? I like one of the girls more than a friend and she knows it, but if she can't go should I ask her friend whom I'm friends with? or would that just be weird?

If you were me, a shy kid, and scared to talk your crush we he is around his friends. I was planning on saying hi to him all day but the one time I did see him with out his friends he seemed to walk so much faster. I wanted to plan a suprise birthday party for him, but it seems like allot of work that I can't pull off. And I was thinking maybe I could just do something just the two of us. We started dating 2 years ago&were engaged to be married that following April.After we got engaged...it was like things fell apart.He ended the relationship all together on New Years Eve that year.4 months before we were to be married.I later found out that in that last 3 months we were still together but got rough,he was talking to other women online some sexually&some just to get to know.He ended up meeting some while we were still dating behind my back.We were apart for 5 months&he was seeing other women in that time.Then he came to me&said that he loved me&couldn't be without me&that he was sorry for putting me through that.So we were together&things were perfect.But when one of the people he was talking to while we were seperated and she kept calling and calling and he got so secretive about things(&about the internet thing from before), I got really paranoid and really haven't been able to stop.Now he ended things again&said that it is because of me being paranoid&cont. to next ?

my friends call me ditzy and stuff. i try not to be though. its been kinda hurting my feelings. and for spring break i am going to see a guy tht i like and i know he likes me back. how do i not act ditzy or "blonde" around him?? and all of a sudden it seems like i am getting dumber the longer my friends put me down?? is my fear of becoming dumb becoming a reality?

i wanted to ask this question with the one i posted before.... but any how my husband told me when he married me it was just for looks.... i have two children and gained alittle weight... now he tells me he can never really show me any love unless i lose the weight because he didn't fall inlove with me for my inside.... do all men feel like this? or is this considered emotional abuse?
