Hi i really fancy this guy who works at my hair salon i visit. He's a really lovely person and hes absolutely gorgeous. But what the hell am i supposed to do next? I can't just ask him out because its inappropriate and besides he seems as shy as i am, and it would be mortifying! Its okay if you can meet somebody drunkenly in a pub and chat them up, or get their number or talk online, or whatever, but what the hell do you do if you meet somebody who works in a shop or something like this and the only way you see them is when youre a customer? i cant even find out if hes single, and i don't know that much about him and going "so, are you single" seems too direct, so does any line of questioning like that. I'd die of embarrassment if i had to ask him that! Also cheesy chat up lines and flirting would give him the wrong impression about the kind of person i am. I really am stuck for ideas, and my hairdressing bill is going to be the ruin of me at this rate!

My boyfriend has received texts and e-mails from a "good friend" of his that involved things as "I love you" and "you're my special someone". I asked him if he told her to stop, and he said he already dealt with it, but he still continued to get messages from her. I then found out he sent e-mails and texts to her saying things such as "I think about you everyday" and "I luv/love you" blah blah blah. He said he didn't mean those phrases in "that way" and he just says those to her 'cause she has told him she feels lonely/forgotten a lot (she used to live here and had a lot of friends here) and he just wanted to make her feel better.

So yeah...those messages kinda annoyed me. I told a friend about them and she said that's cheating. I mean, they really hurt me, but they're just texts.......What do you think?

This guy i know, who is pretty shy but does try to be social and drinks. Normally I get along fine with him because I am shy and feel like I can kind of relate to him. He's always been nice to me, but never flirted with me.
Until, the last few times I saw him out in the bar (where everybody at my school goes) he was staring at me when our mutual friend was talking to him, he kept glancing over at me and staring intensely. Eventually he was starting to squeeze my waist and make a point to touch my arm. The next time i saw him, it was the same thing, and i started to recipricate. but the THIRD time i saw him, he acted as if he didn't even know who i was! I was so confused. He was cold and literally turned away when i was trying to talk to him. My friend later said thats "how he is" and not to take it personally. I didnt tell her about the other apparently flirtations. I've never seen hiim really talking to many girls, and i know he's quiet. but now im not sure what to make of this!

I really want to have my niece as my flowergirl but she will only be two and half years old. I'm afraid that she won't be old enough by then to be in the wedding. She is unpredictable, you never know what she's going to do. Whether she'll go off and just blab nonsense (all cheerful and cute) or if she'll get scared and burst into tears from all of the guests. I honestly don't even know if she will do it. If by some chance she can't do it, my cousin's three year old can. The problem with that is, that my sister's already upset that my cousin is my maid of honor and not her... but then to go and change the flowergirls, she will be so angry! My sister keeps saying yeah that she'll be able to do it, but I believe that she is only saying that to see her daughter in the wedding. I really don't want any distractions and I want the wedding to go smoothly, but I don't know what to do. I really don't want my niece to start crying during the "any objections" part but really want her to be in it.

Crush mixed signals.?
I'm in high school, so the signs may be different. I'm asking about a particular boy from school. It's so confusing about him.

~He always teases me, most of the time in a friendly way. Sometimes, it would change. Some days, he'd ignore me and act grouchy while more cheerful and louder the next. Like he'll joke about guys I like and he joked once he likes me.

~He's pretty outgoing, but he doesn't really talk to anyone else the same way he talks to me. However, my friends have called me "easily teasible." I've heard he's an asshole sometimes, but he seems nice.

~I have stared at him a couple of times, so my friend said he might know I like me. I'm really worried, but the teasing has been going way before I started liking him.

There has been a severe lack of communication between us since day one, we were seeing each other on and off for some years, and ended up moving in together in the hope that we will get to know each other better and things will work out for us. Over past year and a half, he got totally alienanted from me and has rarely shown interest in any activities together or even talking. He is a great person, but it kills me that he is miles away from me being in the same room and he claims that I am needy for attention, and just should learn to leave him alone. I agree, but... no talking? no holidays together? never discussing the future?.... I am blaming myself for making him miserable (though he does not want to split) and this situation is causing me a lot of pain..

Please help with advice, I am just really lost and do not know if I should keep trying or all my efforts make no sense?

7 years ago, i broke up with a wonderful man and fiance named Christian Geiger. of course, i am living proof of "ya don't know what you got till its gone." 3 years ago, i knew he was in the danbury, ct area, but now that his mother and father have moved away, i cannot seem to find him anywhere. we both grew up in the brookfield, ct area and graduated high school in 1999... i know we're not supposed to ask questions like this, but this is the best way to reach a bunch of people and hopefully, the 6 degrees of separation will lead me back to him... anyone know or know of this man? any help would be appreciated.

my friendshas a restraining order against him by his wife. The only time he can be near his wife is during visitation drop offs or his kid and they are not allowed to talk about anything but about the kid. One day he picked up his kid at the coffee shop. My friend and his wife both left. my friendreturned to the coffee shop moments later with his kid to order something, she returns to the shop and gets in line directly behind him at the coffee shop to order something. my friend has not been talking to her out of fear of violating the order. why is she doing this if there is a restraining order against my friend? The restraining order has been for 8 months.
