This guy i know, who is pretty shy but does try to be social and drinks. Normally I get along fine with him because I am shy and feel like I can kind of relate to him. He's always been nice to me, but never flirted with me.
Until, the last few times I saw him out in the bar (where everybody at my school goes) he was staring at me when our mutual friend was talking to him, he kept glancing over at me and staring intensely. Eventually he was starting to squeeze my waist and make a point to touch my arm. The next time i saw him, it was the same thing, and i started to recipricate. but the THIRD time i saw him, he acted as if he didn't even know who i was! I was so confused. He was cold and literally turned away when i was trying to talk to him. My friend later said thats "how he is" and not to take it personally. I didnt tell her about the other apparently flirtations. I've never seen hiim really talking to many girls, and i know he's quiet. but now im not sure what to make of this!

the three incidents mentioned refer to three different nights, not all in the same night. Each night he acted consistently the same way, either flirtatious the whole night (first 2 nights) or standoffish the whole night (3rd night)
my other friend says he never says much and is "weird"

I don't have a clue what is going on in his brain, but I suggest that you would be much better off without that foolishness in your life. there's lots of fish in the sea

Yea he sounds like a control freak with SERIOUS ISSUES!!! RuN!!! Seriously tho, that's what they do, they mess with your head to get you all confused and the next thing you know you are all tangled up in their crazy web of games. FORGET about it. He's tooooo weird.
