well its obvious that he isn't proud of what he sed
i had this happen to me once n later on found out the guy was looking down b/c he didn't mean what he sed n he regretted it this could be the case
but he did hint he didn't want u so go find someone who does u don't need to play games Triz are for kids

first ...medical studies in psych have shown that the majority of the time a person while in conversation looks down ...and especially looks down and to his/her left side ...he or she is lieing......really its a studied fact...secondly sounds like hes into power ,control and manipulation of people .....ya know giving em mixed messages nice guy one min not nice guy the next....just my $00.02 worth!
