Not much you really can do until you get a legal separation, you need to do this soon as possible to get out from under all this, maybe you need to talk a lawyer.

A legal seperation doesn't rid you of any bills made while you are LEGALLY married. A legal separation is NOT a disillusionment of marriage..that only comes with a divorce. Whatever bills your husband encurs while you are legally married are your's as well, until you get a decree of DIVORCE.

Get an attorney. Call the local bar association to find out who they would recommend. If you are broke there is still legal help available. Many lawyers donate time-pro bono. Don't try to handle this yourself.

something is lacking here. if your sister replaced into separated over six months, she would be Head of enjoyed ones. She may additionally document mutually together with her previous due husband. i could take a evaluate of what IRS sent to make certain the place IRS is coming from and what could be carried out to repair it. Conceivably, this is greater desirable than it seems.

any debt that was incurred while the 2 of you were married.....you are both responsible for. My cousin had to go through all this, what she was not responsible for was a VA loan that he got when he purchased his house. because that loan was solely in his name. She was responsible for half of the other debt and loans, in which she paid off....the lawyer has to talk to all those loan ppl to make sure that they understood that of the divorce situation, and what half she was paying,so that it could be duly noted, and so that she would not continually be held responsible his half that he actually thought by not paying it....the debt ppl. would hold her responsible for all of it......ROFL......he found out different....they were getting ready to take him to court for failing to pay. he called my cousin up to tell her that she had to pay and she said OH NO....she had documents proof that she was no longer responsible for those debts and what was left was his.....needless to say, he would have gone to jail had he not began paying.
