How long will you wait to ask someone to marry you? Say you've been in a relationship for 7 years, do you think it was about time the question was asked! They know marriage is welcome, they claim they're not afraid of commitment so darn it what's the hold up!!??

Does anyone know how long it takes for goods to clear through UK customs? I've ordered 2 bridesmaids dresses from America and they've been in UK customs now for 4 days ( I've been using my tracking number). Has anyone had experience of this and if so, how long did you wait? They,ve been in customs now longer than it took them to travel from the US! The waiting's killing me!!! lol

so yeah i love coming on here and asking adn aswering but look at this crazy dating stuff, everyone has problems and gets hurt and broken and sometimes i just feel like it's not even worth it. there are so many of us that want answers..... dating just seems to be horible sometimes.

Boyfriend has female friend (close friends with her man as well) who expressed her intentions to move to their friendship to the next level. Only way I found out was our daughter saw her text calling him "baby". I asked him to her stop communicating with her, he agreed. Three weeks later, I found more messages on our phone bill and he admitted he kept in touch with her because he didn't want to give up her friendship. They were texting each other 1st thing in the morning and late into the night. We argued, he called her and told her no more communications of any kind and it was nice to have had her as a friend. I mean I was okay with them being friends until I found out she tried to cross the line. Was I wrong to give him an ultimatum? I mean if the shoe was on the other foot, I would NEVER hear the end of it because he is jealous.

My significant other of many many years retired at age 55! He averaged at least $60,000 for many years prior to retiring.

During those years he often said he could not afford many of the things that others, with a lot less money took for granted.

Because he often spoke of retiring young and the things he would like to do, I assumed he was saving for retirement when he said his budget didn't allow for "this or that".

Now retired, he says he can't afford to travel, he can't afford a "nice" restaurant, he can't afford to help pay remodeling expenses on our home.

I say I don't want to hear it. He shouldn't have retired so early, giving up over half a million dollars to spend the rest of his retirement years complaining to me about having no money.

Keep in mind he DID NOT, and DOES NOT support me.

I say go back to work to enhance the quality of the rest of our lives; any suggestions?

he COULD get the same kind of work.

A friend of mine is getting married for the second time and then moving from Europe to Asia soon after. I want to give her a thoughtful gift but it needs to be something she can easily transport and it does NOT need to be household related. I don't see her much as she travels a lot so I don't know her home-style. Any ideas would be helpful.

Out of the blue he told me to sign over my half of the house or he would divorce me. I said no. Then he said he loved me but was not in love with me and he didnt know if he wanted to be with me. I went to my parents that night. I found out later he went to stay with his lady friend that he works with. I also found out later that week that he had been doing drugs and lieing basically about everything in our entire marriage. He has been staying with his "friend" for a month and a half now. The divorce is almost final. My question is how do I get over the whole thing: him, knowing my entire life was a lie during the marriage, the trust issue, etc.

WE are going through a divorce,but remain friends and we sleep together on occasion.

I mentioned recently that my bf of 18 months wanted to move in. We have discussed marriage as well, but I realized that our parenting styles of our children, along with financial goals, would be the end of our relationship. I really love him, enjoy being with him, talking to him, etc., but there are times when I also just love being by myself, with my kids, or hanging with my sister and girlfriends. My bf can't seem to "find himself" outside of our relationship, often wanting to spend 3 and 4 days a week at my place. Since I have determined we aren't going to live together, I think he should focus on his plans, goals, and friendships too. I still want to be his girl, but he really is freaked about my need for space for me and my kids at times. I find myself unattracted to him when he acts so needy. I can understand the "blow" that we aren't moving toward more permanency via marriage or living together, but he's 37 and I'm 34, we aren't kids. Can't people be committed but live apart?

Okay, I have a friend (girl) who is soo into a guy. She would go to bball game not to watch the game but to watch guys. I am so tired of her inviting me to the game saying that if one of her guy's friends can not come, so the ticket would be mine. What kinda invitation is that? she does that all the time. At the time we go to the game. she would leave me for the guys and just totally ignore me. Then, she would come and sit with me again just to accompany her to talk to the guys she doesnt really know because she said that she needs peer support. After that, if the guys talk to me, she would just step infront of me and just cover me, so that those guys only talk to her. She would get jealous if some of those guys would give me a hug and then she would requested to them. If she wanted to talk with the guys, she wanted me to carry her stuff. She thinks no girl is hotter than her. She also would use my name to be able to talk with guys. She is my friend but I am tired of her attitudes.

Im going on vacation with my bf in a few days. Whats the best way to ravage him? My plan was when we get to the hotel I was going to take a shower and shave my legs, my armpits and my whole nether regions.
