so yeah i love coming on here and asking adn aswering but look at this crazy dating stuff, everyone has problems and gets hurt and broken and sometimes i just feel like it's not even worth it. there are so many of us that want answers..... dating just seems to be horible sometimes.

it's part of life. people learn from the mistakes they make. they learn from experiences. i think it would just be better if people who date just enjoy each other's company and avoid rushing into anything. they should just let it take it's course. if it doesn't work, then part as friends.

Im a 23yr old male from Ireland and in my experience falling in love has only been a way for me to get hurt. IThats something that I can do without for a while. Im single now for one of the first times in years and I intend to stay that way for a while. I almost dont believe in Love anymore - It seems more like an infactuation between two fools, at this moment in time.
Ive got some great memories and had some really special moments along the way, but the majority of my memories are of hurt, pain and not so good times..
I just hope that someday, ill find the true one... HOPING...

I agree this can be quite strange reading some of the questions and answers.I wonder if the guests to Y/A such as Hilliary and John McCain actually read some of this crazy sh*t.It would give them some insight to how "normal" people live their lives.

Dating is horrible because love is scary. But love can also be wonderful.
The key is to be as honest as possible. Demand honesty in return. Allow people to be who they are. Be flexible, but stay true to yourself.
Most importantly, take risks. On the one hand, risking your heart means you could get hurt, badly. But, to find the one you're really looking for, the one who's looking for you, you need to take that risk.
In love, the ultimate risk yields the ultimate reward.

dating is only horrible when you date horrible people. case in point, i met my GF on a blind date to my senior prom in high school. we're still together two years later, and we plan to get married in another few, once we're finished with college. dating isn't so bad. i mean, sure you get a few bad ones, i know i did, but that doesn't mean the experience is bad. instead, oyu get to call it experience, and remember what it was like to avoid it in the future. that's the way i feel about it.
