Does anyone know how long it takes for goods to clear through UK customs? I've ordered 2 bridesmaids dresses from America and they've been in UK customs now for 4 days ( I've been using my tracking number). Has anyone had experience of this and if so, how long did you wait? They,ve been in customs now longer than it took them to travel from the US! The waiting's killing me!!! lol

It really depends, Some times things are cleared in a matter of hours then again it may take a few days. I think it depends on who is workng that day some are good some are job's worths.

Well then it seems the UK Customs is the problem here.
Call Customs and ask them what the hold-up is.

Put it this way...abroad is abroad and their posting and packing systems are entirely different to us here in the UK. Be patient like everyone else who is having to wait for things. Think about them poor sods who lost all their luggage for good because of the strikes and immigrants that take up every nook and cranny on a plane. Have a pgtips and kick back with book titled: Patience is a Virtue. Failing that get on a plane yourself and fly out there and see what those damn yankees have done with your bridals lol!
