im in the same situation, except my relationship was 7 years. These past two weeks have been very difficult for me, but i know i will meet someone eventually and so will you. there is no time limit, it could be next week, it could be next year. just make sure you dont go back w/ your ex

There's no time limit... but I would give yourself 6 months before you date at all... and a year before you look for a commitment.
That's the time minimum that most therapists use... although if you need longer, that's ok too.
It's ok to be hurt and lonely. That doesn't mean you're ready for a relationship again. It means you're still healing from the past one.

as soon as you feel like you are not looking for a relationship just to cover up the last and make you feel better, otherwise it's taking advantage of the other person
