I dislike acting like an obnoxious, rude jerk, bossing people around and pushing others to do my wishes.

On the other hand, I don't want to die alone and I've come to realize women don't like "nice guys" except as friends.

Most women much rather date a child molester than a "nice guy." So I've come to that point in my life where I want to change, but I have no idea how.

My mother wants my Wife, Son and me to have our picture made to put in the church picture/phone directory. The problem although my wife and I are a member of this Church, we no longer attend this Church. We have not attended in 5 years. We have grown tired of the Lutheran ways and have been going to other Churches to try different denominations. I feel that my mother want us to have this picture made because she is worried what people might think if my family and I do not have our picture in this directory. I told here we did not want to get this picture made but she said "do it for her." I don't like the guilt trip but how do I tell my mother I don’t want to get the picture made and not hurt her feelings? My mother worries herself to death about these kind of thinks that seem like no big deal to me. But I hate to make her cry and then my dad will feel bad and he will get a hard time from here because if this issue. This can drive a family apart. Help Please.

When he sees me around he will always make a point to say hi. Once I was with a friend and he started talking to me - my friend was really suprised that he talked so much and was so flirty because apparently he usually does not act that way (he is usually quiet and just talks to his friends). We are on journalism together. I am the editor-in-chief and he is a staff member - he is a year and a half younger. He always asks whether I will come visit him next year since i'll be graduating this year. I am good friends with his best friend. I get the feeling that the guy I like might think I like his best friend because sometimes when we are talking, he says stuff like "Am i interrupting?" I have no clue what to think b/c I am starting to really like him. I found out that the guy I like sometimes texts me from his best friend's phone - I don't know y he does that. So what can I do?

In high school I was teased by some students including girls because I was fat, nerdy, and had glasses. However while attending college away I lifted weights, joined boxing, and now dress with the best urban gear. I now am able to get any woman or women I want and when I came back home I insulted those girls who teased me in high school that want me now. Is that great revenge.

Is it alright to feel jealous towards my boyfriend's female friends? I know I shouldn't because he says he loves me and everything. But every time he brings a girl up I find myself just fuming. He knows I have a lot of jealousy in me but I never really tell him that I'm jealous of his female friends. It's worse because he's on one side of the country and I'm on the other. We do spend a lot of time online and on the phone talking. But I get so worried and sometimes pretty upset that he and another female friend might be getting "closer" then friends should. I don't talk to him about it because I'm scared it'd freak him out. I do believe in platonic friendships with the opposite sex, I myself have a lot of guy friends but I don't know... Is it wrong for me to feel so jealous and get so upset about it? And what should I do to help contain this green monster?

we been dating for almost 2yrs. he was never the initiator from the start. i always have to make the first move. he always gets erections when we joke aorund or play fight or anything like that. if i never initiate it i dont think we would ever have sex! so im asking you guys is it normal that he doesnt ask for it or does he have a low sex drive what? what do i do? ive tried eveything. i want him to want me and jump me! is this normal? ps, hes a great guy though!

ok heres the scoop....yesterday this girl that isnt shy at all calls the guy i like over to her and says hey there she is about me and she had never actully talked to him then my best friend over heard my crush and his friend talking and they were talkin about me and his friend was like you know she likes you....so anyways he was kinda red in the face and looked like he was tryin not to smile....and then later on the same girl goes up to him and said that i wanted to talk to him after school and he goes ok(it was kinda a ur weird ok)...and by the time i got out of the building he was gone soooo......what do i do now???he had already gotten picked up...should i just give him time to respond???does it even sound like he likes me??? oh and today he was acting kinda weird...like he wouldnt look at me or anything but before she did that he looked all the time and his friends nudged him when i was around ...it was kinda weird he has kinda been avoiding me...HELP!?!?!

I have a friend who tends to go on me and our other friends computers without asking, prints things off without asking (in colour might I add), makes things in your kitchen, etc.
She is the type of person that is SO bold, you just don't know what to say anytime she says or does something.

so i like this guy alot but hes always making fun of me jokingly. my friends say sometimes they see him staring at me and hes always smiling at me. hes usually really out going and stuff but around me he gets kinda shy. ppl who knowi like him say i need to talk to him more and stuff but i just get too shy and nervous; i know im not ugly and have a pretty good personality but i just get way too scared that ill say something stupid.

I recently broke up with an ex boyfriend of 6 years.. I am graduating from college this summer and I have to start figuring out my next step. I do not want to live at home and plan to move somewhere else-- possibly FL. My home is in philly. My boyfriend said he would never move.. My brother is 20 years old and he wont move out. He doesnt have any thought about moving out. We live in the same room which is basicly his. I recently met a guy from a mutual friend. We totally hit it off and got along very well. He definatly gave me the vibe that he liked me. We have hung out maybe five times in group situations. I called him and invited him to a party at our friends house (kind of knowing he would go anyway). My friend said he was into me, but when he arrived at the party we were at, he didn't pay any attention to me, and walked away anytime I talked to him. He was just talking to his male roommate. i was at the movies with this girl and i put my arm around her for like 15 minutes and she put her head on my shoulder and then a little later we made out. after a little i moved my arm off her shoulder to the back of her chair and i did it a few more times thru out th emovie. the 1st time i did it a thought just randomly came to my head that what if she doesnt like some1 resting their arm on her shoulder, because personally i thought it might be kind of annoying after more then 5 or 10 minutes. so my question is for the girls, do you like when a guy hs his arm around you at the movies, and to add to this a little do you like kind of resting your heads on eachothers, or resting your head on his shoulders. and im talking about in a movie theatre in like seast, not in a house on a couch cuz its a lot different.
