i was at the movies with this girl and i put my arm around her for like 15 minutes and she put her head on my shoulder and then a little later we made out. after a little i moved my arm off her shoulder to the back of her chair and i did it a few more times thru out th emovie. the 1st time i did it a thought just randomly came to my head that what if she doesnt like some1 resting their arm on her shoulder, because personally i thought it might be kind of annoying after more then 5 or 10 minutes. so my question is for the girls, do you like when a guy hs his arm around you at the movies, and to add to this a little do you like kind of resting your heads on eachothers, or resting your head on his shoulders. and im talking about in a movie theatre in like seast, not in a house on a couch cuz its a lot different.

It would depend on how close I was to the guy. If it was a first date, then I'd be feeling a bit trapped. If I were comfortable with the guy, I would feel like he was sending me the warm fuzzies. A guys arm around a girls shoulders feel warm and cozy. It gives the girl a feeling of being protected. I like cuddling up to someone I like or love. As long as it doesn't get overboard in public.

well I mean if ya'll made out i'm sure she didnt mind your arm being there. I think she enjoyed it or else she would have either told you to move your arm or would have been fidgeting around trying to give you a hint. Other then that I think your all set to go, and yes I would love to have a guy put his arm around me in the movies..

It depends on the chemistry between the two. If I really liked a guy. I wouldn't mind. I would actually like it. Personally, girls like to be held, unless they're mad at you. LOL. But it really depends on the person some. Oh! If it is like in the middle of the movie it would be better. It would be a little annoying if the movie just began... of it it just ended.... that could be akward....

I personally like it....but you're right, not for a long time. It just gets physically uncomfortable. It sounds like you were doing okay....alternating every once in a while. You certainly don't have to be holding her throughout the movie. You could also just hold her hand for a bit if your arm gets tired from being up there. But as long as she seemed to like it, you should be fine.

It is cute but it's also annoying. After a while the arm starts to feel like a dead weight and starts to cramp our necks. Holding hands is much better. Or resting your hand on her leg. ( not to high tho)

well, it can be a little uncomfortable, I think its cute that you care about it. but it depends on the seats. some guys I find it uncomfortable with and other i find it totally comfortable, why dont you just ask her?
