It's simple " You're just not in to him and you need to move on ". Never expect a breakup to end in friendship if it does it does and if not just keep moving . The truth can hurt but a lie can burn forever .

Keep it honest. If you want to be friends still it is best to keep it honest. If you just don't feel that way about him, tell him. He might feel hurt, but he will at least know you didn't lie to him, that would make him feel worst!
