I have a friend who tends to go on me and our other friends computers without asking, prints things off without asking (in colour might I add), makes things in your kitchen, etc.
She is the type of person that is SO bold, you just don't know what to say anytime she says or does something.
How would you get her to take the hint? Tell her boldly? or send hints? any other way? or just not have her around anymore?

If someone went on my computer, I'd ask them to not go on it anymore. I might even password protect it. If they printed something without permission, I'd say, "what are you doing?" I would politely tell the person that if she wanted something, she should ask nicely. I would never stand for someone to go into my kitchen and start making things without my permission. I would say, don't you have a home to do that in?

Well there could be a number of different reasons she does this. Maybe she does not have as much stuff. Maybe she wants to feel close to her friends and that is her way of attempting to be "tight" with her girlfriends. Or, maybe she was just raised with bad manners and has no clue. In any case, you should probably be serious with a semi joking approach. Next time she uses your computer say "Oh sure, you can use my computer! Thanks for asking!" with a smile. Hopefully she will get the hint. If she doesn't tell her flat out. I had a friend like that and he simply used me for everything. He is no longer my friend. If he were a good friend I would not care what he used of mine.

This kind of person will not take a hint. You need to grow a spine and tell her point blank to stop it. when you see her headed towards stuff you dont want her into stop her. Say stop it I dont want yo to do that. if you want to be nice you could say it nicer like Would you mind not doing that. but she is not being nice so you should be as blunt and bold as she is. If she keeps doing it you need to keep her out of your house and perhaps out of your life. Friends do not treat friends in this manner.

I suggest telling her to her face that you can't tolerate this any longer. Let her know that things have to change if you want to continue this friendship. If she really is a friend, she may be shocked at hearing this from you, but, if she is really that bold- she should be able to take it. Then also let her know that you care about your friendship, but it's just really getting to you- the way she behaves. Hope this helps. People need to be direct- speak up when someone's behaviour is bugging you- especially if you care about them.

If this is a friend that you like, someone who you want in your life, you are going to have to be very upfront with her and sit her down and let her know that she is getting to be too pushy, that she should back off. But try and find a nice way to say it, and not hurt her feelings.

If you aren't the interested in this friend,, drop her immediately, she is not a positive influence.

yeah if she is a bold person i might thing u need to be bold with her, being timid or dropping hints with her wont work so if u dont like it when she does something the best thing to do is to just tell her that.

You just need to put your foot down and take control of the situation. Tell her how it's going to be, and if she doesn't like it, then she's not a friend worth having!!!

Be bold!!! Or send her to the curb!!!

if shes a good friend, then just tell her, in a joking way, not to invade your privacy. Such as" lol, do you go to the president and tell him you need to eat and then go into his kitchen or sumthing? Or, if you don't like that, just tell her to ask next time, but, DO NOT SEND HER HINTS. it is usually way to obvious, and she will probably be offended.

DEFINITELY don't have her around anymore. I've had NUMEROUS "acquaintances" who i thought were friends but disrespected me in several ways. If they go so far as to snoop go through your private stuff without asking, they are NOT real friends. Real friends respect each other, AND care what they think.

Tell her that you don't like that she does that and if she doesn't quit then stop having her around. If she gets made that you say something, oh well, her loss not yours.
