i have 70 guests and really want to have my wedding at top of the tower in phila on a sat. they just informed me there is a 125 person minimum. so i can't have the wedding of my dreams now. is this fair? is this normal? another venue i had in mind said there was a minimum of $30,000.

I have been with my boyfriend for 5 years, we've lived together for most of them..but over the last 6 or so months hes changed so much and it hurts me. He denies it, but its obviously so...he hides in the bedroom day in and day out engourged by video games and the computer. I come home and it takes a good hour before he gets to me, even on my days off I sit alone in the living room waiting for him to come and spend time with me....days off is the only time with my busy busy work scheldule...and then just the way he acts towards little things..snipping at the tiniest things..getting angry and upset over the littlest things...what do i say? what do i do? i try and tell him hes acting this way and he denies it...im completely lost for words..for thoughts.. i am really getting lonely and beginning to think that i should move out.....i cant belive i thought that, but what am i to do?

Everytime I try to talk to my parents about moving out, they come up with all these reasons why I shouldnt, or cant. My mom says I dont make enough money, but I make $1100 a month, and I wont have to pay rent when I move in with my boyfriend. Another thing they havent brought up yet, but I know they will, is that Im buying their car from them. I already drive it, and Im supposed to pay them $125 a month for a year, and Ive only made one payment. They probably wont let me move out without paying TOTAL for the car. I really need to move out because my boyfriend has been keeping my dog that my parents wouldnt let me keep at their house, and he said that if I cant move out soon, he's going to give the dog away, because its tearing up his house. I need help!

The wedding is formal, my husband will be wearing a black tux... it is at 4:00 PM followed by a reception with dinner and dancing..... the skirt of the gown is black but does have the same flowers and bead work running the length of the dress down one side/front.

You moved on, ex moved on, but they still want you back. They tell you that they miss you and that you are the love of their life. They have lied to you and treated you bad in the past, but it has been over 8 years and they still insist on that you are meant to be together. Do you give them a chance or not and why?

My boyfriend of 2 years was with another woman for 10 years. They have a child together (he's 9), but they've never been married. His ex is Asian, and does not have any relatives here (I'm trying to be objective as possible). However, she uses their child as a "bargaining chip" and threatens to take him to court for child support (apparently, he thinks they'll really stick it to him, although he has the child more than she does!). She has a new boyfriend who lives 8 hours from here, and various friends who are "always there", especially to go clubbing. Yet, no one is available to take her to needed doctor's appointments, so she asks my boyfriend to take her. When I question him about it (and, I don't mean "interrogate"), he gets angry and starts yelling at me about it, and doesn't seem to see why this should be an issue, "since they have a child together". Is this an appropriate argument? Is it appropriate for him to cater to her and I should not be concerned?

We are friends, but she knows I like her. I just do not want more right now. Our friendship has grown and grown to the point where she has become quite nervous around me for some reason, yet we email and tell each other about the deepest desires of our hearts. I am happily engaged.We have been together for 2 years now.There has been a few problems wit his ex-gfs.The one he thought he loved cheated on him n ever since she found out that he is engaged to me,she tried gettin back wit him,she wouldnt leave him alone 4 a while but now she is out the picture.Then there is another ex that was supposedly preg,n when she found out we was datin,she told him that the baby was his.He says that there was no way,they had sex twice n both times,he used condoms and still pulled out.She is tellin me a completely diff story.On her myspace page,she never mentions that she is a mom or anything like that.She bothered us the first 2 weeks after she found out we was 2gether,Then aroun da time she was supp due,she bothered us again.We told her even though we dont belive there is any way he is the father we would pay 4 a paternity test,she refused.What do you all think?There is obviously much more to this story.What is all of your opinions?

Hi,

My bridal shower is on April Fool's Day which is right before Easter so I was thinking of somehow incorporating either April Fool's Day or Easter into my shower favors. The only idea I have is little easter baskets filled with the grass and maybe little candies or something. Any other ideas?

My best friend is off the deep end. He's a trust funder, and a lawless, 34 year old, drug user. At the same time, he is a gifted actor. He attended a top rate University, is amazingly creative, but is doing little with his life. He's in Los Angeles, and is out of control. He has no money, and he's gotten himself into yet another legal bind. He's always been there for me during hard times, but I've never needed financial assistance.

Me- I have a job, a wife, and a daughter. I'm settled down from my wild life. I dont have much money after the mortgage, daycare, college funds, and retirement funding.

Should I help my friend, or should I let him go to jail? What would you do if your best friend was in a similar scenario?

I don't go to clubs and I don't go to certain types of parties, I don't go to bars and I don't go to social events cause Idon't like large crowds,I know what I must sound like but I am not anti-social trust me I like to have fun(clean fun,no sex), but I have not had any for a while now,HELP!
