Im 25 and there is a 40yr old attractive man at my work and he ALWAYS looks at me. I know he likes me...would he be flattered if I made a move or would he run a mile?

I have been on and off again with a guy who is best described as a FWB for 6 years. Lately, he has been calling me his girlfriend, telling me he loves me, and wanting to hang out more and more often. I'm not sure what his agenda is, as he doesn't need to butter me up for sex or anything. He even wanted to hang out on Valentine's day. I rarely call or bother him, and all we have in common is great sex (we get along too).

The thing is, I am too old to get ridiculous and *fall* for this guy, and I wonder why he has gone from being a total playboy type guy to trying so hard to woo me. I think part of it may be pride, that I broke up with him 4 years ago when I met my (then) future husband (we have since divorced), and he doesn't understand why I went off and got married to the other guy.

I would like to believe he is sincere, but part of me just can't. How can I tell if he is sincere? Its just hard for me to believe he has suddenly developed all of these deep feelings for me.

ok.. ive known this boy for 3 years now. And i really love him, we broke up over the summer, and i think he's moved on. I loss something very special to him. I want him back but im afraid he doesnt want me. Im 17 and hes 22 is that a big age differnce?

she said " I don't know its hard, I like you as a friend though", I probably should have asked her what that meant but I was pretty heartbroken so as soon as she said I like you as a friend, I just walked away because I was devastated I didn't cry or anything but Its really depressing, Because I guess I thought that she did like me like that, I've done soooo much for her and even though I know she appreciated everything, Its going to be realllly hard to get over her not likeing me more than a friend. I'm really depressed, My life has been kind of Depressing and this just made it that much harder. Today during work we were given a free hour. The guy I like (who also happens to be the teacher during that work period) gives me a special type of paper to draw on during that free hour, and only me was given one, since he said I was a artist (which is true) and the others weren't. Well he left with another group and told me he would be back to see what I drawed on it. So that time comes, he asks me if its done yet, then I show him and he likes it, says its cool. Then he leaves. I see him in the hallway but he doesn't interact with me. Near the end of the day he is in the computer room and I sit near him. He talks to me once, telling me that hes gonna get me to help paint something, and he'll teach me painting techniques, and he winked. I said I would, and eventually he leaves.

So, what do you think?

I am trying to get to know this guy. He's attentive, he's caring, he's nice, & he's considerate. The thing is his job always keeps him on the go from city to city within our state. He told me his last relationship of 3 years ended because his ex gf would not accept the feeling of being alone in a relationship anymore. He did not want it to end, but said it was not until it was over that he fully understood where she was coming from. We have been talking for a few weeks, but he has not been able to take me out yet because of the same reason. He calls me everyday, and always keeps his word on calling me. I was going to ask him do he think it would be best to just have a friend with benefits. I would "not" be that friend, but as bad as he wants a relationship his job seems to be his gf & as much as he tries to come through you still miss the physical. I think he is attentive because he learned from mistake, but it hard to get to know someone as well as date them with a demanding job.

I like this boy. actually, i may love him. hes all i think about, hes all i do stuff for. everything is him. We used to be best friends, and we went out for about a week. it was silly stuff here and there, but i had always felt really strongly for him. Our parents are good friends, so i see him now and then. But everytime i write him on myspace and try to talk to him, he never replys back. I know he read it because i see it says read. We live in Indiana. Before we got married we both owned our own houses and had good jobs. She cost me my job and now I will lose my house, my car, and probably my daughter (from another relationship). She is leaving me with nothing, while she has her job and house. Is there anything I can do?

I like him, but I thought he was 'out of my league' because he is a senior and I am a junior, and we only have one friend in common.

A couple of people have guessed that I liked him, and told me he acts different around me, smiling a lot, finding time to spend with me. I thought I noticed it too, but then I wasn't sure when I found out people 'joke' that he likes someone else.

In theatre arts we are reciting poems for a competition, so we went to the auditorium to practice projecting and stuff. He needed someone on book for him. My friend said she would do it, and I said I would do it at the same time, and he chose me. She was jokingly saying, "oh, do you like her better?" and another friend said "That's because he wants her!" and everyone else(all 8) chimed in saying the same thing.
I wish they hadn't done that. It just makes things awkward. He heard, but was walking away.

What do I do? Do I make the first move? What does that mean? I've never had a boyfriend before.
