my hubby was born in feb 1956 his name is dennis cooke and he lived in the midlands until he was two years old his father was also called Dennis and we believe he went on to have a second family please if you think you may have links to my hubby contact us we have been trying for many years to trace dad and any other half siblings need to more so now my mum in law has passed away ..have a family in Blackpool desperate to meet you !!!believe dennis cooke sr had a brother called william..

May I suggest that you go on the web and surf Court-Houses Records of Birth. Once you have where he was married, it will be easier as you progress. Over the years, extensive searching has been done to the point that on my fathers side, back to the 11th Century. My Mothers even further to 926 A.D. We found relatives that were ' undesireable' and others who did wonderful things. My mothers Great-Great-Great Grandfather signed the Declaration of Independence, Josiah Bartlett. Blew us all away. i know of a lloyd cooke who lives in hanley stoke-on-trent,dont know if he's related to you,but hope this helps,unfortunately its a very common surname,he is in his 40's.

go to www.ancestry.co.uk and tou can do multiple searches on there it's very good I used it for a similatr thing and got great results good luck
