she said " I don't know its hard, I like you as a friend though", I probably should have asked her what that meant but I was pretty heartbroken so as soon as she said I like you as a friend, I just walked away because I was devastated I didn't cry or anything but Its really depressing, Because I guess I thought that she did like me like that, I've done soooo much for her and even though I know she appreciated everything, Its going to be realllly hard to get over her not likeing me more than a friend. I'm really depressed, My life has been kind of Depressing and this just made it that much harder. I don't like my job but I know I need to have a job, I have some friends but not many, My high school experience went by quick without much excitement, I'm at a community college so I don't get to experience what the college life is like because I'm living at home, and Now This girl that I have done everything for dosen't like me more than a friend. How do you move on from a girl not liking u?

This girl I like does have some personal issues too, She is actually taking antideprassents spelling?, she isn't getting along with her parents, and she keeps getting in trouble at school, shes in the national guard, when she said she was depressed, I was kind of suprised because she is really hot, and funny, and smart. I don't know all I know is that its going to be very hard to move on from her because I've pretty much have done anything and everything for her.

You need to cut your losses and move on. She's not ready for a guy like you. You do have some image issues to get through, so take some time off ladies. And use spell check.

You can't help someone with the expectation that they will fall in love with you. At least she's being honest and not trying to mislead you. It sounds like she has issues of her own and may not be the wisest choice in a long term girlfriend/boyfriend relationship anyway. You need to consider how to help yourself. Focus on the future that you want and try to ensure that you will be able to contribute to a partnership when you do find the right girl. And you will. You have control over your own life and can choose to make improvements or remain sad & depressed. It may have hurt to hear the truth--but you are strong enough to get pass it. I think I'd keep her as a friend.

I don't really think she meant it like that. I bet you took her off guard and those words just came flyin out of her mouth. She might like you. If she doesn't just go talk to your friends...they should take some of the pain away. Soon you'll find another girl that you'll like and she'll like you back. Good luck

how do you get over a girl? fill your life with postive things- join clubs or take up a new hobby or something that you enjoy doing. It's also a good time to spend time with family or friends who really care about you. Keep yourself busy and you'll be fine.

It means that she doesn't want to be more than a friend. She DOES like you, just not as anything other than a friend. Either you accept that or you simply walk away and look elsewhere.

it probably means that she is confused maybe somebody else just asked her out and she doesn't know how to choose or maybe she was uncomfortable at the time maybe she was afraid of what people might think or maybe she thinks you are the fast type and she is not ready for a fast moving relationship

She did you a favor, as hard is for you to see that. She never was more than a friend, only in YOUR mind. You will get over it. Another thing, don't do things for girls. If they don't like you for who you are, they are not right for you. You will save yourself many many heartaches not trying to please a girl into liking you.
