I find it hard interacting with strangers, especially in a group, and it's hard to gather my self-confidence and get over my shyness. How can i boost my confidence, and overcome my shyness?

Ok,I've just become friends with this one dude.We've been talking for probably alittle over a week,but we've became pretty close in a short amount of time.Him and his girlfriend are always fussing and fighting,and finally he broke up with her.We were talking,and I sorta just threw my opinion in about their relationship.Then I told him that it wasnt any of my business,not wanting him to think I was trying to butt in or anything.Then after I told him that it wasnt any of my business,he said that it was my business.That just confused the crap out of me.Why did he say it was my business when I dont even know his girlfriend or the type of relationship they have?

My friend asked this guy if he likes me and he said yes. She asked him if I asked him out if he would say yes, he sayd he would, but he wouldnt really be able to tell alot of people because his parents dont really want him dating. So shes going to ask him out for me...do you think he'll say yes? We danced at the danced, and he had his hands on my hips and stuff, and UGH! the feeling of his hands on my hips and his chest against my back was just ah! lol. So do you think he'll say yes? And if he does when I see him tomorrow...what do I do? I want to talk to him but he and I are both really shy. And hes a total skateboarder and hangs out with all those kinda of guys, so...basiclly Will he say yes? And what should I do if he does?

I married my lovely wife in June of 2006 after courting for nine years! She was born in Cebu. Philippines and I in Toronto, Canada. When ever she gets angry she will accuse me of being unfaithful. Just about every move I make causes her to think that way.

I have seen similar situations in some of the Filipino movies that she rents that were made in the Philippines. I know that she has that hot Spanish blood running threw her veins, therefore I can understand her being quick to temper. What I have trouble understanding is the logic behind her accusations???

My question is this trait of Filipino women from Cebu?

I love her very much!

I have been married twice to the same man. I feel in my heart that we are not right for each other but I stay for the kids. They are almost 18 and 15. Guys, what would you think of a girl that is more like a guy than a girl? Like she would rather go paintballing or hunting than to the mall. Or doesn't get why girls go to the bathrooms in packs and usually wears her hair in a ponytail. But I still am a girl and do some girly things. Recently, friends of mine, and myself, have been meeting men who are acting like they want to commit to one person, and even say they do, but then are found to be cheating behind our backs. My mom only seems to hate me and my sister. She loves my brother. She calls us names like B@tch, and sl*ts, and expects us to do everything. she starts fights with us for no reasons. and when she calls my dad to tell him a bunch of lies on the phone she laughs at us and sticks her tongue at us while she's calling him.
But when my dad is around she acts like she loves us and that gets on my damn nerves.
I had enough with it. I dont love her i cant love someone like her cause she breaks my heart every day i dont know what to do anymore.

im 24, well i got this friend who looks ok, the way he gets a girl to go out with him is he'll walk up to the hottest girl he sees and will say how gorgeous she is or how breath taking she looks and so on. and for some reason they like to hear that then the next thing iknow is their in the bedroom. how is this possible? i mean he doesnt look that good he's ok. i asked him how he's able to do that and he told me its how you structure your sentences and how you speak with the girl and how smooth you are or funny.

ello. my name's tasha. 18yrs old. well my problem is my parents. my parents DO NOT CARE for my likes or dislikes. well the thing is that i wanna be a fashion designer, and i wanna make it big. however my dad has a problem with it. recently i got a letter for a fashion college. well my dad was going through the mail and he saw the letter addressed to me. i was sitting on the couch watching tv. my mom was there too. well my dad asks my mom what the letter was. my mom told him it was a letter from a fashion college addressed to me. upon hearing that, my dad says "oh!" well next thing i know he rips up the letter right in my face! i didn't even know what it said cuz i hadn't opened it yet. i felt sooo hurt. i felt like crying, but i was so in shock. i feel like my parents don't really care for how i feel. what can i do? also i am very emotional depressed about other things too. i don't tell my parents cuz i know they don't care or won't believe me.....

Last night i was talking to a guy that I have known since two years ago, but we have really talked in the beginning of this year, so we were talking on the phone and he goes like "ok , do you have anything to ask me?" and i said no not really, but he eventually gets a question out of me and i said hey! its your turn to ask me a question, and he asks, "how can i spoil you?"
The question caught me off guard and i really didn't know how to answer it, so he says why dont you think about it and tell me tomorrow.
So my question to you all is, what did he mean by this?
I asked him what do you mean, and all he said was "how can i spoil you?"
What is he REALLY asking?

I have two boys 15 and 12. I had a stroke, and have been left hadicapped. However, my sister and brother-in-law are fine people and have agrred to help raise the boys.

My husband has gone through my 401K and has started on my pension. He is not earning any money, and has been fired from two jobs. He now has a job, but earns very little. He relies on my social security and the social security I get for the boys. I had a very good job before I had the stroke.
