I married my lovely wife in June of 2006 after courting for nine years! She was born in Cebu. Philippines and I in Toronto, Canada. When ever she gets angry she will accuse me of being unfaithful. Just about every move I make causes her to think that way.
I have seen similar situations in some of the Filipino movies that she rents that were made in the Philippines. I know that she has that hot Spanish blood running threw her veins, therefore I can understand her being quick to temper. What I have trouble understanding is the logic behind her accusations???
My question is this trait of Filipino women from Cebu?

It probably has something to do with her feeling of insecurity. She has been uprooted from her home, she is at a far distance from family and probably doesn't have a lot of friends around, she is newly married to you, she is in a different culture, and is most likely feeling out of her depth. The Filipino movies which she watches are no encouragement for a healthy outlook either.
You'll have to be very patient with her and keep showing your love, faithfulness, and devotion in every way and any way possible. She'll learn to trust you in time and also gather enough self-confidence as time goes by.

I think it's not only from Cebu Philippines. Every single women feels this way, no matter what her nationality is, not unless if the women doesn't care about you. However, some women not only filipinas think that way, no matter what you did right. But if you have done something in the past, they think that you're doing it over and over again.
The answer to your question is "NO". It has nothing to do with the traits or values of filipinos. It is a psychological thing. In fairness, to your wife. She is so dedicated to your marriage and she wanted you to do the same. Just give her an assurance, that you're not doing something stupid that would cause your marriage to suffer. Go out with her, take her to dinner every Friday night, bring her flowers. What ever you have done while you were courting her, do it again. (unless of course you were cheating on her then- don't do that - LOL). It's not because you are already married, that doesn't mean you have to stop being sweet and nice to her.

Filipino women, in general, are very loving, very sweet and prone to jealousy. I should know, I am a Filipina! And the reason we easily get jealous is that we care so much and we want our man to know that we will not telorate any hanky-panky.
Please be more tolerant and understanding of her whimsical jealous rage and at the same time, keep on assuring her that there's really no reason for her jealousies.
However, if she suddenly becomes "uncaring" and allows you to do what you want to do, now is the time to get worried! LOL...just kidding!
