Recently, friends of mine, and myself, have been meeting men who are acting like they want to commit to one person, and even say they do, but then are found to be cheating behind our backs. What is the problem? Why can't these men commit? Is there some psychological disorder or explanation for this?

I work with this guy who has to pick up on anything that's female and has a pulse. He has been married for over ten years and has screwed around on his wife many times. He's a super nice guy and I have no problems with him personally. In fact, I consider him a good friend. I do however feel that he has some major insecurities because of his promiscuity. I believe that men do this because of lack of integrity and character. I wouldn't say that it's a psychological disorder but more of a way for him to feel that he is of some value to himself. If someone you love or care deeply about has done this, or is doing this to you, get out of it now. You don't need the headache and there are plenty of quality men out there for you. Commitment is just saying, "I only want to be with you", but actually doing it. Best wishes to you dear.

I think it is because they simply are not ready to settle down yet. I am a firm believer in karma, I believe they have not met that someone special and are just lying so they have a standby until they do. Well I have watched karma pay them back for all the lies when they do meet that special one. So don't worry and don't be dumb, watch out for the liars and get away from them you are not the one and you don't deserve to be hurt by them. They will get what they deserve, just don't get revenge cause then the bad karma is on you. Good luck.

its just that a majority of men are weak when it comes to woman..if the man is truly devoted to a woman which is rare these days bc of the enviormental influences that causes him to break his lock and what kind of person they are It also depends how they were brought up by their family Many people may seem perfect at first but they too can b dangerous men are capable of anythin you just hav to meet the rite person who is committed to what they do and not get disturbed by a woman that kind of man is truly a man

They were the wrong guys for you. Thank your lucky stars you found out before more damage was done.

P.S. It's said that more males than females have ADD, even though their attention span is short, you could eventually find one who can keep his attention on you.

no there is no psychological problem, may be they are just out to have a good time before they settle down. Only be sure you still want to hand around them if you are ready to settle down to a steady relationship. They might waste time for you.

Men are just stupid.... they think they have to play these games with women... the truth is they probably arent just telling you that they want a relationship. they're telling everyone that...... the stupid thing is... there is so many woman that just look for a "f*ck" buddy, that these men can get exactly what there looking for by being straight forward... but thats to simple for them to do....the think that they have to string all these girls along.. and play games. because being honest... might not get them any play... forget about them... pick out the weeds... eventually you'll find a good honest decent man... its hard... but there are some out there.

There is a psychological disorder, and it's known as Acute Dumb*** Syndrome. It's usually cured by decades of being by oneself for obvious reasons, such as lying to and being dumped by women. Sorry...

Don't think something is wrong with them it is just that they want to prove to themself that they are studs. Your job is to not allow them to win keep blocking each time they try to get in with sweet talk or anything else. After all of this is said and done and they are tired of running around they seek to get married and settle down.

It's an instinct thing. To stay faithful to one mate take enough love to overcome nature.

Because instead of dating a man who would love to have a good woman in his life, you and your friends are settling for "men" who treat you like you're expendable. Therefore, y'all have only yourselves to blame.
