im trying to get some first date ideas. me and the girl i like are both really shy at first till we get to no eachother. so im not really sure what we can do on a first date. id kinda like to do something where we can talk but be alone to. even tho it might be hard for us to talk to eachother at first i thought it might help us open up. any ideas?

We had been going out for a while,when i decided me and my bf needed a break.We went on a break for two months,but really missed eachother so got back together.I felt so happy,and everything was going great four months on.He was always nice to me.But one night when i said i wanted to see my guy friend he phoned our friend to invite my guy friend out,just to stop him from seeing me.I got really upset and didnt go to see my bf bec ause i was meant to be seeing him also.The next day he was meant to be making it up to me,but instead he swore and shouted at me and my friend.He then cut himself with a penknife and showed our friend.When i talked to him,he told me and my friend how sorry he was,and said he was an idiot for cutting himself.He said he had been mad because i had got upset and not wanted to come out the night before =S He bought me a diamond necklace,and has kept apologising.I feel like everything has been ruined in two days.What do i do?

My stepdad has high blood pressure and is diabetic(injects himself before every meal). He has been told not to drink or smoke, he has at least 12 beers and a box of cigarettes everyday. My mom didn’t used to be a keen drinker, but every night he buys her a bottle of wine and she finishes it, then she moves onto anything alcoholic in the house. Besides setting a bad example for my 16 year old brother, I’m worried about her, when I try to talk to her about her drinking, she gets very snappy and says she drinks because she is stressed(my mother is a housewife and has not worked for approximately 10 years, we have a maid who does all the cleaning, washing and ironing, so I don’t believe the stress story). How can I get them to see what they are doing to themselves? What happened to my mom? She was motivated, she used to do stuff, she had friends, she used to belong to a book club, but now, all she talks about is getting “rid” of my brother and I so that they can be alone and carefree. respectful

kind
doesn't drink or do drugs (will have a social drink)
isn't interested in physical relationship w/me
wont discuss marriage (we are 29)
keeps putting our relocation off (i moved to his tiny hometown and i don't like it at all..too clicky, too expensive, nothing to do)

I have tried living in his town for a long time, tried rekindling the physical intimicy and it hasn't worked. we seem like roomates.

I was just offered a job about an hour and a half away and accepted it. I have been looking the past 6 mos. I have mentioned this before and he just says "you won't go" and for a week sems attentive. Until now I haven't acted on anything.
Now he is being nice & caring & says I'm making a big mistake leaving. I said we could try long distance dating.

Is this relationship over?
Why does he seem so upset I'm moving when I'm around he doesn't act like a b/f?

my best friend has a desire for me.in the past my friend had no romantic desire for me.Now during the last couple of months during
her rocky relationship with her boyfriend I was very supportive towards her,I allowed her to cry on my shoulder occasionally and I

I am 14 and i need HELP I have these ""friends"" and they just got mad at me for some reason. I cant figure out why. I asked them why they were mad at me, but they just wont tell me. One of the girls say she cant say why. My ""best friend"" who is mad at me wont talk to me any more. I called her house and her brother answered and said she was sleeping but I heard her in the back round. I love these girls to death. Apparently this has happened before, but she still goes to the house.
I'm not sure whether to believe her or not.

that she felt weird hanging out. My girlfriend and I broke up a few weeks ago. I thought the relationship was going well, but she didnt feel the "spark." We were friends before we started dating, and we decided to stay friends after breaking up. We hung out a week ago and I felt perfectly fine. I acted normal and did not do or say anything that i normally wouldnt. Talking to her today she said that "And plus, it is weird when we chill, it's like theres weirdness all around.... well, it feels weird cuz i can sense how u don't feel so comfortable anymore. like suddenly we have nothing in common."
