Description of my 2 and a half year boyfriend
genuinely nice guy
respectful
handsome
kind
doesn't drink or do drugs (will have a social drink)
isn't interested in physical relationship w/me
wont discuss marriage (we are 29)
keeps putting our relocation off (i moved to his tiny hometown and i don't like it at all..too clicky, too expensive, nothing to do)

I have tried living in his town for a long time, tried rekindling the physical intimicy and it hasn't worked. we seem like roomates.

I was just offered a job about an hour and a half away and accepted it. I have been looking the past 6 mos. I have mentioned this before and he just says "you won't go" and for a week sems attentive. Until now I haven't acted on anything.
Now he is being nice & caring & says I'm making a big mistake leaving. I said we could try long distance dating.

Is this relationship over?
Why does he seem so upset I'm moving when I'm around he doesn't act like a b/f?
Do I stay or Go?

I

GO! your biggest mistake is not acting on your words. He takes you for granted. I always say " If the shoe fits the first time that's great, if you wear it for a week and you have blisters take it back" You need to find self respect, how can he respect your decisions if you can't even respect your own? Chin up and realize no one is worth your mizery. Have you ever asked if he were willing to move to a new place for you? You'll see there are plenty of men with even better qualities where ever you go. raise your expectations and you will find someone worthy of them. Good luck!

Go...You know deep in your heart that you should..Don't waste another precious minute of your time..It doesn't sound too much like your BF really cares that you aren't happy there..Besides, you are providing him with a "play marriage", why should he marry you or even discuss it? Sounds like his mind is elsewhere...ON HIM.....Just go..If you stay you'll be living under his thumb and he'll be just a happy as a bug in a rug..Take it from me, you can't get back the years that you waste on a dead end situation..Of course when he feels like he's losing you, he'll draw you back in, but it's only short term..He is the way he is and he'll treat you the way he's used to treating you. You can't change a thing about that aspect of your relationship..If you were my daughter I'd send you a one way ticket to your new destination..Trust this, you know what you should do...Just act on it...

Go. At 29 he's much to young to not want a physical relationship. He also sounds very controlling. Go. Don't look back. Go. Look straight ahead. Go before it's too late.

Run and don't look back...He thought you'd never leave and now that you've decided to be your own person he's afraid...Honey you need to go and don't look back, if he comes looking for you then try again but don't stay for him.

Go

There are plenty of respectable, nice, handsome guys you can be roommates with.

Are you packed yet? Quit ready this crap and get packing.
