Ok, I always seem to ask questions to do with my friends. One of my friends is getting braces and she is freaking about it. She has this thing about image, insecureness I guess you'd call it and just the thought of braces brings her to tears. I have tried to support her and listen to her when she's talked to me however I wondered if anyone knows how I could help out when she actually has them.

ok, my boyfriend, the love of my life, resently started talkin to this girl who i absolutely hate!!! and it turned out that he also got her something for valentines day without tellin my. i dont know if its a big deal or not. should i tell him, or should i not. we have been through so much. and i dont want to add anything worse to his life,cuz he has a lot of stuff goin on. wat should i do?

I know it's different for every girl but you personally, do you want your engagement as a surprise??? or you want to choose the engagement ring by yourself??
I've spoken to some of my friends and I got response like
- propose without the ring and prefer to choose so she can get the one she likes.
- surprise because its strange to get proposed without a ring.

What do you all think?

themselves to fall into those type relationships?

Turn on a tv talk show, read a womans magazine, the local newspapers feature articles on the problem all of the time!

But it just gets me how foolish some of these women are. And some have been around ; they are much older than I am. They have certainly had time to make critical decisions about issues concerning their OWN LIVES!
Where's your self-esteem? Why do you need a man to "define" you anyway.? And why oh why do you allow a man, a so-called man, a dirtbag in most instances, to exert the audacity to abuse you at all? Does it make you feel loved? needed? important? Do you secretly embrace the idea of being "controlled?"

I just can/'t understand why a woman allows a man to abuse her, either physically or emotionally.

Ok.. well this guy starts to swear at my friend then I was like "chill out!!" Then he started to yell at both of us.. we didnt even kno him!!! He jus came up when we were at Starbucks and then there was a man that said what the hell r u doin??? GET OUT!!! He jus came out of his seat to yell at us 4 no reason!!! HELP. I met someone online recently. We like each other a lot. He expressed an interest in dating me. Initially I accepted, but soon after we both decided to take more time to decide since we hadn't met in person yet.
Things continued fine - he was witty, charming and kept up "the chase". At the beginning, I had my reservations about dating him, but I've come to realize that it's best to give things a chance and see what comes out of it.
Since about a week ago, he's become distant and withdrawn. He isn't trying to "woo" me anymore. It may seem like he's trying to do the opposite. Could he have changed his mind, the way I've changed mine?
We are meeting in person next week for the first time. I want to tell him that I'm keen on dating him too, but with his recent behaviour, I'm not sure what to do! I think he is also worried whether the relationship will be successful or not because of certain issues (such as race etc).
I'd be grateful for any constructive feedback. Thanks!

My betterhalf is adopted and his adopted dad told me that my parents didn't love me or care for me or they wouldn't give me away. I feel like if that is the way he felt about a foster child then they shouldn't adopted. My friend to me that I need to forgive them.
