I was a checkout girl and the guy just said so when are we going to hang out not in this store. I was 18 at the time.

just ask her out to see a movie or go for a drink or dinner. The worst case is she says no... then you just move on and forget about it. It might be a bit embaressing but you'll get over it.

chat at the checkout,then when she gives you your receipt,pass her back an old receipt that she gave you before with a nice note and your number,this happened to my friend and she was with him for ages after.Try it!

i work in asda so its easier for me to ask but a shopper would have to find them outside of work find out where she goes see if shes got a myspace or summit
dont try what so many customers try and fail with "so erm... write your number on the back of the receipt nd hey ill ring you *smug look* "

Why not buy a bunch of flowers, and after she's scanned them through, tell her they are for her.
Alternatively, ask the Customer Services desk if you can use the tannoy speakers for an importnat announcement.

i totaly agree with heathen, what a cool idea, girls love it when you boys will risk compleate humiliation for us. and to be fair if you hgave the balls do it, no way a girl would say no after that, i take it she is single but if not your gonna find out!!!!
