I feel like if that is the way he felt about a foster child then they shouldn't adopted. My friend to me that I need to forgive them. Is it right for them to said that to me and how can I forgive them.

I now that there are good adopted parents out there. But when you are a foster child and have ever been adopted. I think that is wrong for a adopted parents to say something like that to a foster child and when that adopted parents has not seen or talk to that persons.

Of course it's not right for them to say somethign like that for you. People put children up for adoption for many different reasons, none of which have anything to do with the child.
I think you should know that and remind yourself of it everyday. Your friends dad has every right to his opinion and you have every right not to agree with it but i don't think you should let it ruin your relationships. I don't think you need to forgive him for anything but i do think that you should try to move past it and focus on other things in your life that are more important than who a person's parents are or what they did or didn't do. After all, you are not a relfection of your parents, you are what you make yourself to be.

I am adopted and I feel like the luckiest person in the world to have been given 2 loving, caring parents.
