And is that a fair enough reason to give when telling someone you think "we should just leave it". Fair enough I was only seeing this girl for just less than 2 months but believe me that is plenty of time to fall for someone isn't it? My freinds and family had never seen me so happy, we had such a laugh together, now I feel she has thrown something special away and for no real reason other than the above. My other questions are related to this matter - how much longer does the knot in my stomach stop me from eating solids and feeling sick, in fact even if I don't eat it's still there. Also when will I be able to work, talk to my friends, watch telly, listen to the radio, or do pretty much anything without thinking about asking her the same old questions I've been asking her since friday? e.g. "Why?"

We met some nice people about 12 years ago, and we would meet on a saturday night for all that time,then twelve months ago was the last time we saw them ,they live a good hours drive distance from us,and through the year I would have rang maybe six times , and would have a normal chat but they would never ring us .Nothing happened between us ,but neither were we given any explanation as to why they stopped coming to our club and meeting with us , They would have their own friends in their own area , my husband said we should give them a call ,I say no leave it be . They know our phone number . I think its easy to pick up the phone and make a call nobody is that busy .

My situation is that I am angry at my in-laws including my wife for making excuses and protecting a demon(my so-called father) who beat my mother with an iron pole when she was about to give birth to me to the point where she almost died. she had to break away from him and drive herself to the hospital to give birth to me.Years later after they seperated, he cut us (his kids, from my mom anyways) off completeley.He only calls when he needs money and he feels the world owes him.We(including in-laws) had to "beg" this beast to come to my wedding which was thrown in Nigeria bcos according to the "culture" a wedding can't take place w/out the father's approval, whether or not he is a DEAD-BEAT.The wedding took place and my in-laws (including wife) see my mom as the bad guy cos she hasnt gotten over the YEARS of physical abuse, and they make excuses for the man and keep saying "he is your father.In-laws INSIST i call this beast every week.During our last conversation he called me a bastard.

My old man has always been a combative type. He's always on the offensive, accusing people of this and that, pointing out shortcomings, and the like. He generally means to do right, but often times his temper gets the best of him and he gets angry at little things. This seems to be getting worse with age. He also chews my mom out quite a bit. He's never laid a hand on her and he doesn't directly insult her or use profanity, but I think she's had it with his shenanigans. She never used to stand uip for herself, but she has started and now the old man is more combative than ever and feels victimized if my sister or I stand in her corner. Anyone got any advice? I'm not sure how to deal with him. He just told us that maybe he'll just leave us all because we think he's such a nasty guy. The thing is that he isn't. He just tends to get nasty here and there. I'm 29 btw, so the kids are all grown up. But I'd like to try and help the situation somehow. Intelligent responses only please.

I have been involved with this guy I grew up with for about 8 months and we have had some really good times. The sex is good most of the time.. But now he finds reason's to only want to come over when he wants it.. I have asked him to tell me twice if he was no longer interested or not attracted to me, but he will not give me a answer.. He has even tried to set me up with someone he is related too. But he is jealous over them. He is very jealous over any other man. I just don't understand what he wants.. Spoke to my mate last night, she's a bit depressed because she's single (come out of a horrible relationship). I thought I'd send her a valentines day card (a cute 'friend' one with a hedgehog on it) to cheer her up. I have the choice of leaving my job for a love that I know I would have a hard time ever finding again, or stay at my job and make lots of money and hope that I eventually would find it again. We have been living together for six months now. We've helped each other out with various things in life such as laundry, rides, bills, gas money, groceries etc. He started to get very protective over me and questioned every minute of my day. He didn't want me to see or talk to any other guys except him and I was the same for him. I got a text from a guy that I hadn't talked to in months and I've known him for years. He flipped out on me and thought I was being sneaky. I was upfront about the test when I got it cause he was right there-it was no big deal. We have argued for a week now. We were getting so much closer to each other when that happened and now he won't look at me or talk to me. It feels as if he is trying to purposely hurt me, because he felt betrayed. We care about each other and I do love him. How can I make him understand that I really do love him and the text was a surprise. I feel that he loves me by his words, actions-the little things, but is denying it
