I have the choice of leaving my job for a love that I know I would have a hard time ever finding again, or stay at my job and make lots of money and hope that I eventually would find it again. What would you do? I likely won't be able to ever make the same amount of money again and I will not be able to live like I currently live. I do not yet speak the language in the new location.

Why can't the love of your life move to where you are?! If both of you are sure of wanting each other so much, then comes the question, "Who has more to lose??" when it comes to one of you leaving your residence. If you earn more, then your love will have to sacrifice and vice versa. I think that say if your love earns less than you and yet not willing to sacrifice/compromise, this may be reason to think that he or she is thinking of money/security of a job to be more important, but what about you then??? Furthermore, depending too on who is female and obviously going to be the mother of your children. I'm a little on the conservative side and think that a mother should stay home with the children, or have a part time job, but basically will put more of her energy to raising the kids. Remember, children today are the future of tomorrow. You cannot have both parents working full time; what will happen to the kids. Well, you have to think like this when you know that this relationship is serious and you thinking about getting married and have children.

If you feel that this is the love of your life then go for him/her. Money is nothing if you don't have anyone to share it with. Jobs come and go but like u said you may never have a chance to find a love like this again. Then again, leaving your job could be a huge mistake especially if this love thing doesn't work out how you planned it. Maybe you should sit down and weigh the pros and cons of the situation and then go with your gut. Only you know what to do.

This is a hard decision...I suggest taking a notebook and writing down all the pros and cons of each the job and the person you love...It's very hard to make love work without money, and once you've lived with money it's hard not to...from experience I would stick with the money...love will find you again

Why can't the one you love come and be with you. Why does the woman always have to be the one to relocate? If this person really loves you he will look at the place you can have the best life style.

Through inference moving will lessen your lifestyle. If that is the case maybe your career should be the one saved. It sounds like your standard of living is better. Just look at this before you make your decision. What is wrong with your lover coming to a different country to live your life?

Are you having to leave your job because you will have to move away from the area where you are working? Is your love asking for you to leave your work? I would ask myself if I have known him long enough to truly know him and his family and if his values are close to mine. (You marry not only the man but his family as well!) Is he from a different culture to which you would have to make major adjustments? Is he moving far away which is creating time pressure for you to make a decision? Money is not everything, but, it is important for a woman to know she can support herself adequately should the need arise in the future. IF it is possible, you might want to take more time to make your decision unless you already know the answers to the above questions. I wish you both well.

Of course the obvious answer is love......but on a more realitstic aspect...I think you need to ask yourself if it really is love.....to me if I knew for sure this is love, I wouldn't need to ask this question. If you are torn between the job and the man, give it more time. You should never choose love unless you are 100% sure. Otherwise you are giving up yourself on a maybe.....thats not worth it. If it is true love it will withstand a little more time. Good luck....its sounds as if you are very fortunate in money and love.

Money can buy all kids of things, except love. When you find the love of a lifetime.. grab it. You can always find another job that may pay you close to what you make, but it's hard to find another love so easy.

i'd chose love but why cant your love come to you i dont know that hard to answer are they planning to marry you if not then let them go and keep the job

because if you leave the money and they leave you then you're screwed from a good pay check and love.

you need to really think about this one.

if it's a love you will probably never find again---don't lose it. You can adjust financially. Heartbreak lasts forever.
