My situation is that I am angry at my in-laws including my wife for making excuses and protecting a demon(my so-called father) who beat my mother with an iron pole when she was about to give birth to me to the point where she almost died. she had to break away from him and drive herself to the hospital to give birth to me.Years later after they seperated, he cut us (his kids, from my mom anyways) off completeley. He only calls when he needs money and he feels the world owes him. We(including in-laws) had to "beg" this beast to come to my wedding which was thrown in Nigeria bcos according to the "culture" a wedding can't take place w/out the father's approval, whether or not he is a DEAD-BEAT.The wedding took place and my in-laws (including wife) see my mom as the bad guy cos she hasnt gotten over the YEARS of physical abuse, and they make excuses for the man and keep saying "he is your father.In-laws INSIST i call this beast every week.During our last conversation he called me a bastard.

What bothers me the most is how my wife jumps on the band wangon with her parents in feeling that my mom is being ridiculous and malicious for still being angry all these years. She and my dad divorced about 30 years ago (after I was born) and there has been a bitter cord since then. What hurts even more is that this mad man has no damn remorse for what he did and people like my wife and in-laws make up all sorts of excuses for this beast. All I hear from them is "pitty him, pitty him." And my wife has left a bitter taste on my mouth for even shedding tears for this man. Meanwhile if you asked him about my mom (Who he beat up mercily all the years he was married to her), he will call her every ***** in the book and tell you that "she left me." His audacity disgusts me, and I just get angry when I see these pple (Wife and her folks) look at my mom as the "bad" guy for having bitter feelings towards this man.
