As a 16 year old girl, I want to have a nice, all-over tan to impress the guys; and to boast my self-confidence.

I'm having a pool-party this 3 day weekend, and will be wearing a bikini. In order to tan more evenly, my older sister said I should try tanning topless. Have any of YOU tried this? should I?


Also, if I have this all around tan, will it be appropriate if I remove my bikini top while swimming. It's more comfortable, and I consider it freeing. Is this okay as long as I will be with only my close friends (boys and girls)???

What should I do? Is it true that girls tease you because they like you? If that's true, should I turn around and give them a big kiss in response to their teasing? Or do they actually dislike me (don't want to use the word hate here)? I'm a 19 year old college guy, btw.

all thought my husband has me a ring being sized for valentine i made a statement tonight about putting valentines on hold till its finished and he just said yes what ever i know hes hasnt gotten a card so i said i guess i wante even get a card on ltime and he said well i will get up and tell ya i love ya b/f i go to work i then I replyed you do that all the time what effort is that and he said it takes a lot of effort and for some dumb reason it hurt my fillings and im in the living room on this danm computor and hes asleep is it a stupid holiday and why do we get our hopes up

a tin can and rubbed himself on the cheek with it to cut himself out of frustration right in front of me! I told him he'd better leave and he has now. What the hell was that about? We've had arguments before but I've never seen behaviour like this. Is he a psycho???

I know a guy not real well. But I would like to ask him to go to a wedding with me, so basically, I would drive, and of course there would be dinner and cake there so basically he wouldn't have to pay for anything. I've noticed when I go out or meet with an acquaintance I'm always offered a drink. If I don't accept the drink, I'm looked at like I'm weird or something's wrong with me. Sometimes I'll even get teased with comments like "Be a man" or "Live a little." As if drinking has to do with any of those 2 qualities. Also, I've been on dates and the minute I say I don't drink, the girl thinks I'm weird and is no longer interested. I think many people drink just to "fit in" not because they like it. I think is stupid and similar to sheep going off a cliff just because the one in front did so also. I've tried beer, wine, and other drinks but the taste is gross to me. Does anyone else think this is true? To me it seems like drinking rubbing alcohol. Plus, I see people acting stupid when they're drunk and getting DUI's. I don't see any positive side to drinking at all. If beer and wine tasted like Coke or 7UP then yeah, I would drink. Does anyone else think the same way or is it just me?

she is new at school and we talk once. We talk about our school history and religion. She told me she lives with her grandmother and she goes to this big church. She told me she used to go to private school and she had to wear a dress and she didn't like it. So she now goes to the public school. She also said that our class feels like it's summer school. Are conversation ended when are 10 min break was over and back to work. I was leaving early right when break was over. She told me she was leaving in 2 hours. Anyways She said she was a loser and she walk back to class and I told her no your not. And that was it we both walk away and headed in different directions. I thought the conversation was going good, but she was doing most of the talking. Why do you think she called her self a loser for? She sound kinda serious when she called her self a loser. Maybe she thought I was bored with our conversation. Next day in class I was doing my work and this girl ask for a piece of gum and the girl im interested was sittin behind me and she ask for a piece too. I gave both of them a piece and the girl i'm interested said i'm sorry for bothering you and I said that's alright. I was going to say something than she puts her head down and goes back to work. She didn't have any friends when she was new now she has 4-5 friends, but 1 that's really her true friend which he's gay btw. Anyways when she walks past me she won't even look at me. I hate when a girl ignores you like that. I'm not gonna talk to her unless she looks at me because to me that just seems like she doesn't want anything to do with me. I don't really know her that well, but i think she been acting weird. The class was on break so almost everyone goes outside and gets some fresh air and some stay inside by the door and waits for break to be over. The guys and I stay inside and wait for break to be over while the girls go outside and get some fresh air. I saw her talking to this guy outside and she anyways break was just about over and the girl comes inside and she kinda shouts to the guys if the door was lock. The guys said yea and than she seem like she had an attitude sayin in a rude way i'm going right back outside and goes right back and talks to the guy. Then I went outside and told her the door is now open and she ignore me like she didn't hear me. She was still talking to the guy. And few minutes later she comes inside and im right there and she didn't look at me. Then she goes back in the class and im still in the hall. So she gets out of class takes out her cell phone and calls her mother. And she goes outside and talks. The guy that she was talkin to was still out there. As soon as there conversation was over she said peace out to him. She could of ask me if the door was lock. I mean I was right next to her when she said it. What is up with her?

My ex and I have been over for a little while, but I want him back soooo badly. I'm taken though. I'd give anything to get him back. We've gone out twice now. im always there to catch people when they are falling and hurting..i treid to help this guy from getting his heart broken by the same girl and he didnt listen he got back with her. i treid so hard. he only needed me when he was crying and had no one alse. I am graduating soon from college, and I my parents have been divorced my entire life. I am not especially close with either of them, but moderately close to my entire extended family, including them... if that akes any sense. Neither of them have financially supported me through my education, but I know they are both proud of me and want to be there.

Given the very complicated nature of this relationship, I have decided to do what I want on my graduation day... since I deserve it. I plan on inviting them all to the ceremony, and then have one family luncheon at my favorite restaurant afterwards. I expect both sides of my family, and my close friends, to be civil for my sake.

I feel like I am making the best decision to include everyone who cares, while making sure my special day is a happy one for me... but I was hoping for advice from someone who may have been through this or parents? Actually, any advice would be great?

Whenever I asked about why girls prefer bad boys to nerds, I got the response that one day, the bad boys would end up as failures whereas the good boys will get the girls. I agree that good boys will have a greatly increased chance of getting girls later in life, but it seems that the bad boys still have quite a bit of success later on too. It's like the good boys are being told that the bad boys will fail later on as a way to placate them, even though the bad boys still may win out in the end. Why?

I'm 17 but I have lived a fairly sequestered life, I have only recently started going to a public school (college) so I have NOOO experience talking to girls. I guess I just want to know what regular guys talk to girls about. Maybe some topic suggestions, what tone of voice I should use, etc...

and can't get over him? We've been together 8 months and are seriously talking marriage but she is constantly interfering. I know she'll always be a part of his life but she uses his son as a pawn and when she doesn't get her way she witholds him.
