Whenever I asked about why girls prefer bad boys to nerds, I got the response that one day, the bad boys would end up as failures whereas the good boys will get the girls. I agree that good boys will have a greatly increased chance of getting girls later in life, but it seems that the bad boys still have quite a bit of success later on too. It's like the good boys are being told that the bad boys will fail later on as a way to placate them, even though the bad boys still may win out in the end. Why?

I'm asking becuase I see so many bad boys grow up to be as successful as nerds. Why do people keep telling me they grow up to be failures then?

bad people are bad people, regardless of gender.
if you are honest and loving you will end up better off.
women who like "bad boys" often just like men who are decisive, strong and powerful, traits that these guys have but which are overpowered by other nasty traits. these women have also often had crappy examples of men in their lives to work with, and end up emulating relationships they've known because they don't feel comfortable doing something else.
men do it to.
it's lame.

Don't generalize
Bad boys don't necessarily end up as failures.
The nerds (so to say) tend to get better marks and more education etc.. but there are a lot of outgoing people (people persons) that do well in life.
Bad boys just get a later start in term of discipline etc..
If you are referring to BAD boys as kids that are always in trouble then that's a different story.

Lifestyle. When those "bad boys" grow up they will probably be living in poverty. Nerds on the other hand will have the education to achieve greater things. And no, nerds wont end up getting the girls maybe for money, but thats probably it unless they are fortunate enough to meet someone that truly loves that "nerd".

I think it all depends on your understanding of what a 'bad boy' and 'good boy' is. No man that doesn't respect a woman's dignity and self-worth will ever be sucessful with women. Don't try to be anything that you are not. I say just stick with your true nature, whether bad boy or good boy or nerd, I bet you'll find a mate just for you.

bad boys are actually good.they just find it hard to be hard like me!i always try to be good but always find myself in trouble at last.its like how much uyou try to be good u just get bad.but this is just the manner of a person.LOVE is blind .love is not dependent on manners.its dependent on the heart of a person.this is the ultimate answer!
