Wee I won't by your girlfriend jewelry, but if you want to go for it. But...... dating for only 2 weeks????? I'd just go buy a big cute gift bag and fill it up with a bunch of little things. like candles, candy, cd's, all of the things that you might know she may like. Its a lot cheaper than jewlery.

R U an idiot my man!? Why would u buy her jewelry this soon. Regardless of the occasion, it's only been 2 weeks. U shouldn't feel obligated to buy her any specific thing just because it's valentines day. If she expects something special from u just because of the day then u should probably start questioning whether u really want to be in a relationship where ur girl expects u to do things just because ur "the guy." She should be happy with the fact that u thought of her on the day.
Let me ask u, do u think that she is going to give u jewlery or anything of the sort? I doubt it. So why should u feel like it's appropriate or necessary? Why don't u base the day around just being with her and if u WANT to give a gift then don't over do it. Good Luck!

No way, too soon! Jewlery means commitment...unless it's something very casual I would stay away from it all together. Maybe go with tickets to a hockey game or something that you can do together. It'll give you a chance to get to know each other better and have fun. Don't get sucked into the Valentine's Day pressure.

Boys don't give a gf expensive stuff so early on in dating.
As suggested, a card and fancy chocolates or take her out to a special dinner/date and make sure to let her know it is to celebrate the 2 weeks though I doubt many celebrate anything that soon. Or give her a rose when you pick her up for the date.

TOO SOON!
i make it a personal rule that for v-day, if you've been dating less than 2 months, either no one gives gifts or only the guy gets a gift (usually small, like chocolates, about 6-9 roses, etc..)

Hey if you love her show her.
Anything will be appreciated.
It really is the thought that counts and if you feel that way about her then do it.
