My best friend is 11 (12 in a week) and shes in 6th grade. Im 13 and im in 9th grade (yes were friends, its a long story). Anyways, im really really worried about her. We kinda have a long distance friendship thing going. Weve been friends since we were babies, and i moved away 2 years ago. we are still best friends and visit each other on a monthly basis usually. anyways, this year she has gone crazy!! she has started wearing heavy makeup, wearing tight clothing, telling everyone she isnt a virgin when she really is, and has gone through 10 boyfriends at school since august. i really dont want anything to happen to her, like drugs or rape or whatevers goign on in todays world, i really care about her. i have tryed talking to her about it and she just asks like "yea yea whatever" but i dont want anything to happen to her! her parents are anything BUT strict! her mom calls my mom complaining all the time saying "shes going to the mall and wearing make up what do i do??" and she wont do

I just read the most god awful question.. Is valentines day overrated? Its only overrated if you make it that way. Its a day to celebrate LOVE. It doesnt mean you cant celebrate it anyother day or every other day, its just a day for people who love each other to show it. Who says you have to buy a card, or flowers, or chocolates to show it? No one, thats all in your peoples minds. Its not just for couples, its for friends, and family too- so have fun instead of complaining about how its "so overrated". So if you're one of those people who's crying their eyes out cause you dont have a "date" stop the sob story and get off your *** to go hang out with your friends. Maybe your dramatic and pitysome attitude is why you're at home by yourself in the first place! Agree?

My boyfriend of six & a half years broke up with me about a month ago..First of all he did it in an e-mail(he says he had to do it in an e-mail or I would talk him back into it..I never have before though) he told me that he knew I was ready to get married & he was not..& that he "didn't really feel that he was in love with me anymore" but he hoped we could still be friends...Since we have been together he has done this twice each time is for the the same reasons he isnt happy & isnt in love with me after a few months of being a part we end up back together & HE wants to get married..so I agree he never has bought the ring but he has asked & even picked out things for the wedding & where & when we would get married he seemed so excited & then he eventually breaks it off again..I just don't get it..We are first loves & we have the same outlook & want the same things out of life I dont understand why he does this...does anyone have any ideas should I just give up or keep hanging on?

I don't know why, but I am always attracted to guys with girlfriends. Even guys who I didn't find attractive before will get a gf and I am all of a sudden attracted to them. I think it has something to do with knowing that there is little chance they will want a relationship (Which is something I am not wanting right now). There is also the idea that it is scandalous. Like in high school when you did things bc your parents told you not to.

is it just me or when a girl fights someone they are always bragging and saying theyre tough and this and that. when he doesn't pay child support and has had nothing to do with your child for the last 4 years? Nothing for Christmas or birthday either...never calls or attempts to see her...she doesn't seem to have feelings for him because he's never been around on a regular basis but once in a while she'll mention that he doesn't care for or love her...I'm on okay terms with his mom and sister...I'm at the point now where I feel like it's too late for him (not that he even tries) to have a relationship with her, but I think if I mentioned signing away his rights he won't do it just to be an asshole...plus I'm in a serious relationship and plan on getting married so I'm sure that will complicate things...

My husband and i seperated in Dec.(his choice) and he got an apartment. 2 months later we decided to work on the relationship. NOW for the past 3 weeks he has been staying at our home everynight and never wants to go to his Apt. if he does it is only for an hour or two a day, which is ok with me but i don't feel like we are working on the relationship. we have sex but don't kiss or show afffection otherwise. we are not doing anything for V-Day. he says he really screwed up and wants to square things away with me but i am not sure what to think. Is this his way of "working" on things? what do you think of the situation? any idea what he is thinking?
also I am 9 months pregnant.

I think im an attractive female that has a nice round face with big beautiful lips and it drives me wild how some of my friends tell me about some guy who tried to holla at them or how some guy is throwing theirselves to them. And when they ask me if any guys are doing the same? I say no that hasnt happend to me and I get this feeling inside like im ugly or something. Do anyone have friends that tell you "supposedly" some guy tried to holla at them like all the time. Truthfully I dont know if i should believe them anymore because to me they seem average to me.

Well I saw her coming into the gym while I was leaving yesterday and didnt realize it was her until I passed her even though I looked right at her, the problem is when she looked at me she looked really sad or something, so I'm just wondering what this means, if she likes me and if she does should I just call her up?

What happens when your ex-bff steals all your friends and grows in popularity destroying your life? I see them all the time with her lil posy talkin crap on me. I'm just as cool as her. Just none of my friends form together in to a nice lil group like hers. When people don't want to tell you something why do they say

"i'll tell you about it one day"

or

"that's a story for another day"

instead of telling you the truth about the situation, or saying they just don't want to talk about it? Are they being polite or just lying? Is it because they are trying to protect you? Protect themselves?

What are your thoughts on this?

(HINT: Please don't say "i'll tell you about it one day" or "that's a story for a rainy day" because you won't get best answer!)
