Love is so amazing and painful at the same time. I urge you learn how to love and work with love. Loving someone very much is not healthy and if you do not know how to communicate effectively with each other you will hurt each other for nothing. Now you need a new start and try to love again. Do not give up Love yet. Sit down and analyze your Love sick situation and ask yourself why it went wrong. Sorry and Happy V-Day.

True, but the depth of the love increases when you realise that there isnt a thing you wouldnt do for that person. The good in love outweighs the bad at all times and the hurt isnt the same kinda hurt you feel when you dont love someone. Mutual love heals the wounds the past caused.

Yep. True love is when you continue to care and be there for a person through the good and the bad. It's about patience and forgiveness. Of course, there are limits...one has to use good judgment. But if the two love each other, they will try to do what it takes to ensure that they are NOT making a habit of consistently hurting their partner. If there is a pattern of causing the other pain, then something is not right, and maybe that love needs to be reevaluated!

yes and no...
what you say is a little vauge. noone can hurt you as much as someone you love. but someone who truely loves you would wish not to hurt you.
even in a healthy relationship, there is conflict and pain, but the line between healthy and the other person showing no regard for your feelings is very fine.
true love between people inevitably causes some pain, but rarely is that pain to the degree where people equate the two. you might want to reexamine what love means to you. it is a common mistake to think the heavy emotions created by a painful relationship are true love.

You didn't really phrase this as a question, but I have to agree with you about loving someone doesn't mean you will never hurt each other. Being hurt, and hurting others is a part of life. No one is exempt from being hurt.

Well, I am into a relationship previously and I love him very much. But too bad the relationship doesn't work out so it ended.
We both love each other, and thru ups and downs in the relationship.
What hurt the most is the relationship itself has ended.

It wouldn't hurt if it wasn't love. Whats important is that you show the kind of love you want back. With love there's respect. I dont think you intentionally aim to hurt the ones you love.
