Ok, last night i was playing out with my friend, and I had to be in by 10.10 pm, I lost track of time and she called me and started saying things like 'You're never going around there again!!!' (around there meaning around my friend's house) then today she started lecturing me about 'You're never going around there again, I'm not letting you!' etc. But i can understand her grounding me for, say a week or two, but never going around to my friend's house again seems a little over the top to me.

Is she being overreactive/overprotective or not?

Someone (an adult) wrote a note of apology to my 13-year old daughter for offending her.

I need some ideas for ways to teach my child to verbalize her acceptance response to this adult in an email. I have some ideas - but just want to bounce this off YA. Thanks - and earnest replies only - please! ( it wasn't a serious offense, but an offense nonetheless!) and a teachable moment!

Im 30 married but still fell in love with 21 yr girl met her & been physical with her in love, but now feel giulty of what ive done I love my wife, she dosent know abut it, but the Girl says that she wont marry for th erset of her Life & stay like this in my Love she was told by me that Im married but after 1 month when I realised that she is reaching too far. Knowing everything she accepted me as her 1st Love & now not ready to forget me. Im feeling gulity of everything.she now has anew bor friend who knows everything & he curses me like anything day n night of playing with the emotions of an innocent Girl, what do I do Im full of guilt & not able to come out of It.How do I tell her to start afresh & dont bank on me she denies doing that despite of knowing that there is no future with me.Though everything was with the consent of that girl yet is it that Ive done a sin & should look for praishit?

My father was a disabled vet who passed away unexpectedly yesterday. He had no life insurance, and I am the only family member who will be responsible for his funeral arrangements.
I don't have much money to bury him. I think that he had a burial plot waiting for him in New York, but with him having no insurance, will this be a very expensive thing to move him from Michigan to New York?? Help please I don't have anyone that will financially help me bury my daddy.

Here's what happened...my daughter had her fifth b-day, no call or card at that point from my step mom and dad so I text messaged her (she's deaf) and said 'did you remember today is her b-day? Don't worry no big deal just thought the dates got mixed up or something". She texted me back saying a torrent of abuse such as ' don't tell me what to do, I would never forget, maybe you are just feeling moody or depressed but don't you forget I am older and wiser' etc.... I wrote back stunned saying 'how dare you talk to me like this, you've misunderstood why I wrote, I meant no harm' The end result is they are not speaking to me, they felt they should not have to call, I should have, and that they didn't misunderstand, that I am wrong. I said I am sorry you took it this way but it was not meant that way, I did not deserve your saying hurtful things to me I was simply trying to do a nice thing, in the past b-days have gotten mixed up and thought this was the case. R they right??

So I like this girl (lets call her Susan) and I told her I liked her a while back and she said she kinda liked me too, but then we got in a big fight and I told her I didn't like her anymore (which I thought was true, but wasn't), and she said she didn't either (after I said I didn't)
We are back to being really good friends, and she's dated one or two guys since I told her I didn't like her anymore, and now I realized I still like her, and I don't know if she likes me. She seems like she likes this one guy, but other times it seems like she likes me.

She gives lots of people hugs, and it seems that she most always gives me a hug first, then other guys.

I also heard from some other girls that are kinda her friends that while they ( the girls ) were making a hot/not/etc. list, Susan was the one to add me as a hunk, and I'm pretty attractive, but I don't think I'm a hunk, but she added me as one, putting me in the same group as the other guy I think she might like

Does she like me?

A few years ago,i dated a really amazing guy,but we were really young and stupid then and it didn't work out.However, we have remained very close friends all this time,and have gradually grown closer and closer.My current boyfriend has always been kind to me,that was until last night...he had made me cry yesterday and the night before,and said sorry,but because i felt too annoyed to accept it then he turned and started swearing and shouting at me like a nutter.I know he gets angry easily but he's never been mad at me.I felt so upset and shocked,i couldnt forgive him,and later when i was lying down drunk,(with other friends) he came over and accidentally poured a bottle of wine over my head.While he was doing this,my ex,but still close friend was phoning and texting me to make sure i was ok,making me smile,though i dont know how,and he admitted all these feelings for me.I'm so confused and i dont know what to do about them?Or about my boyfriend's behaviour?

My husband doesn't seem to know what romance is. He used to, sort of, but now he doesn't even seem to try. I have asked him to touch me and explain that I am a chick and I am emotional, I've tried hinting, he's apparently a romantic idiot! LOL

He's my good friend, known him for a year and a half...he told me he loves me, (and i turned him down) and now im starting to fall for him too

BUT - its complicated...i cannot date him because my family would never approve of him...PLUS, i know that if we were an item, we would constantly argue and fight and i dont see it having a future -

also, im not too sure if he DOES love me, because after he told me, he said it was a joke of some sort (but he doesnt make jokes like that at all)

but i get on with him as a friend despit the countless arguments - what shall i do! He's my friend so i cant avoid him - and i dont want to avoid him...i just want to prevent myself from falling in love with him!

What day (M T W Th F S Su) does your school usually schedule band concerts? What time of the day are they usually scheduled?

My son's new band teacher (just out of college 22 or 23) has scheduled a concert for 2pm on a Sunday. Is this inconsiderate of people's time? It's smack dab in the middle of the day, making it very innconvienent to plan a family outting for the day.

I have three best friends, and they are all female and I am male. We see each other pretty much everyday and I do a lot for these girls, I am god father to their children. I call them my Angels and I treat them like queens. I am very appreciative of our friendship, enjoy spending time with them even if it means I have to go out of my way, and enjoy expressing my love for my friends such as with gifts and etc. We've been friends a long time, and been through a lot, but I always feel like they don't appreciate me.

Lately I've felt like my friends sometimes take advantage of me and take me for granted. Saying you care is one thing, but showing it is something else. They say that they care so much and love me, but I often feel so a lone. I do not ask for a lot when it comes to my friends. A simple phone call once in a while to just say Hello, but even that seems like too much to ask. Is it me, am I to blame? I don't know, I'm just so tired of this BS?

I was having a conversation with a few married women about having other women visiting their home. Majority of these women stated that they do not entertain other women (female co-workers/friends) in their homes. They would accept their close family members. What brought of this conversation was I have a friend/co-worker who enjoys dating married men and other female co-workers (who she is friends with) will not invite her to functions held at their home. What about you ladies? Do you entertain women outside of your family to your home?

ive been with my boyfriend for almost 3 years. weve had our ups and downs but we have worked thru all of that. we even have a child together. but i do know that my attitude sometimes drives him away. its not an everyday thing but sometimes i can get mad about little things and take it out on him. how can i stop taking things out on him and i can i learn to communicate with him better if i have a problem with him. i know sometimes he may even feel like not coming home so how can i make him feel good once again without all the drama.

My wife file for divorce in CA. She is living with another guy while I make all the payments for the 2 of them - ARG!!! We were married in Malaysia - which may provide me with an annullment. If I get the anullment, can I use it to say the marraige does not exist.
