My wife is currently on a Carribbean vacation (cruise) with her mom. I sent her on this as a token of wanting to help her in the marriage.

She has been crying to me each night since the weather is terrible with rain and clouds...she is NOT having a good time!!!

She threatened to come home, but I stopped her...

Now, she demands another vacation when she gets home so she can unwind and relax from this stressful time...

She also demands that I go with her, but there is no way to get out of work for me...

How do I appease this situation? I don't like it when she is angry with me!!!!

What did you do? Why did you do it? Were you hoping they'd notice your attentions and ask you out or what? What happened?

after 10 years and a divorce and a reconciliation, it may be over, but one last ditch effort of counseling may save it who knows

i often see women using this as justification for not paying their way on dates in the begining of a relationship

they will say "if i asked for the date i would pay for the date"

heres the fallacy with their arguments

women, virtually NEVER ask for dates, especially early on in the dating sequence, so who always pays?

My husband quit his job exactly one year ago to pursue his own business. We were having financial difficulties at the time he quit his job, but I supported him and we pushed on. I truly believed he tried his best to get the business started, but a year later, my credit score is completely ruined, bills are backed up, and I'm truly scared about our financial situation. I'm working two jobs and I have just given him an ultimatum. If in six months, our situation hasn't improved drastically, then I'm leaving him. My question is, am I being fair to him, am I being too lenient?

I'm throwing a couples bridal shower for my sister-in-law in April and I'm kind of stuck on what to give out for prizes/favors. For a girls only shower it's not that hard... pictures frames, candles, lotions, etc. But the co-ed aspect is making it a lot harder than I thought it would! I'd appreciate any suggestions for any part of the shower! Thanks. :)

Do ex's usually come back? I'm just curious and wanting to know other's take on this...any personal experiences? An ex is an ex for a reason, but why is it that they come back after awhile, even after THEY've dumped you? I'm in a situation like this now...my ex gf left me, but this has happened before, (my ex left, but came back, etc), but this time I believe my ex has moved on for good. I admit, I was hurt, cuz in the end I thought we'd work out...I had high hopes. Everytime I asked my ex if she really wanted me to leave her be, she'd be like yes, then the next day no...etc. But now, she's told me she's trying to have a faithful relationship with her new gf (even though she cheated on her w/ me), and feels like I'm gonna ruin that for her. I've accepted it, but still text here and there. It's only been 2 days since I last text...she doesn't contact me anymore, I contact her. What I'm wondering is, if I let it go and ignore, do ex's usually come back on their own term? why?

i have been friends with her for 3 years now. and yes, we were friends with benefits. several months ago we had a "falling out" i told her that i do not want to talk to her anymore. she stopped calling as frequently and i thought she had finally moved on and lo and behold last week she calls me "private" and starts rambling about how great her new guy is, blah, blah... in my opionin she was calling me to try to make me jealous and in actual fact is really in love with me otherwise, if the new guy was so great, why is she still calling? what do you guys think? remember, i told her never to call me again long before this as i said the friendship was over... let me know your thoughts.. is she just crazy, or possesive or just .....

People change constantly - different views, tastes, even friends than a few years ago. If you marry someone, how do you know you will feel the same way in 25 years' time? Clearly many people don't, although they probably don't think that when they first get married.

Do people marry for security? If so, is there any part of law that can't be dealt with outside marriage? Marriage makes financial situations more secure in the event of a death, or if the relationship does not last - costly divorce and childeren aside. Can financial security be guaranteed outside marriage? When buying a mortgage together, can it be ensured that both persons are responsible for payment? If you have children, can it be guaranteed that if one leaves, s/he continues to pay child support/provide care? Can you legally define someone unrelated as your next-of-kin?

Perhaps you should only marry if you are in a financially weak situation, otherwise, what's the point? But I'm open-minded on this - any other views?
