What did you do? Why did you do it? Were you hoping they'd notice your attentions and ask you out or what? What happened?

Fell madly in love with a boy 6 years older than me when i was 13. I stared at him all the time, wrote Me + Him and Mrs. Guys Name on all my notebooks and wrote pages and pages about him in my diary - i just watched him all the time and tried to find out everything i could about him. I prayed every night that God would bring us together. After 5 years of this (I had other boyfriends, I wasn't completely weird), I finally got the nerve up to ask him out. We went out a few times and it was just as magical as I imagined it would be. I was still crazy about him, and he, evidently, fell in love with me. We spent hours talking, cuddling in the front seat of his car and my prayers were answered when he asked me to marry him.

That's when i screwed it all up and turned him down. I was young, just starting to feel real sexual power and wanted to play the field some more. Stupid, Stupid Stupid!

I've been married for years now, to a wonderful man, but I still think about my first love almost everyday and occasionally Google to see if i can find him - just to see how things turned out for him.

I'm not suggesting all the adolescent stalking paid off - and I don't recommend it, but there's my story.

I don't think there is a person on the planet who hasn't had a crush and did things to get noticed by the person. However, stalking is on a whole other level. That's a practice that shouldn't even be considered. You may get noticed and the outcome may not be one that you'll like. If they like you, they'll let you know and if they don't, then that's their loss. I don't think you should ever force the issue because it may just be that the person isn't right for you. If it's supposed to happen it will and it definitely won't be because you stalked them!

I've been stalked...twice. It's not only annoying, but can get down right scary. The first one I had to call the police on because he followed me home one night and said that if I didn't date him he would kill himself. So, no, I'm not that obsessive.

ahh no . . . that is NOT the way to get someone interested. More likely it would freak them out.
