By the time John pulled into the little town, every hotel room was taken. "You've got to have a room somewhere," he pleaded to the last hotel manager. "Or just a bed. I don't really care where. I'm completely exhausted."

"Well, I do have a double room with one occupant," admitted the manager, "And I'm sure he would be glad to split the cost. But to tell you the truth, he snores so loudly that people in adjoining rooms have complained all week. I'm not sure it'd be worth it to you."

"No problem," the tired traveler assured him. "I'll take it."

The next morning John came down to breakfast bright-eyed and bushy-tailed. The manager asked him how he survived.

"Never better," John said.

The manager was impressed. "No problem with the other guy snoring, then?"

"Nope. I shut him up in no time," John said.

"How'd you manage that?" the manager asked.

"He was already in bed, snoring away when I came in the room," John said. "I went over, gave him a kiss on the cheek, said, 'Good night, beautiful,' and he sat up all night watching me."

we meet on the internet, a few months after, we spent our first weekend together. but i live in portugal, and she is studying in azores, it's portugal anyway but it's in the middle of the ocean, now we can only be together a weekend each month...the thing is, i love her very much, and she really likes me, but not as much as i do...i'm thinking in going to live there next september while she finishes her degree (2 more years +/-). but only if she becomes more in love with me, if not, i won't go. what do you think?

I have been with this guy for over 18 months. He has yet to introduce me to his mother or bring me to his house. he lives with his mother. he is in his 30s. I know his brother and neices by default. they used to be my neighbors. But he never introduces me to any of family by choice, nor his friends. it appears he seems embarrased to be seen with me. I am 40. I have 3 kids under 12. but i have long, dark hair, and i am not unattractive, i dress good, and have a nice job. I work really hard, this saddens me, every other man i had was proud of me. what is wrong

I have been to 9 schools... 3 elementary, 3 hs and 3 colleges. I am going to write about what its like to be the new kid in school... but i have to tie it in with popular culture. I was going to talk about the peer pressure... what it would take to fit in and how much more susceptible one can be to peer pressure when they're the new kid at school. is it so hard to be simple
us men are very simple creatures
we don't give little "hints" which don't help by the way
we give direct answer
we know what we want (no not always sex)
we are just simple

but women are the complete opposite

I am getting married in five months, but I still think about a person from my past. I was very much in love with this person and him me, but we were like each others drug. Bad to be with each other, but can be worse to be apart. I Love my fiance and would hate to hurt him, I can see myself spending my life with him, but I can't get the other person off my mind. Ive been married for less then a year. I love my wife with all of my heart.

We have a problem though. We have sex about once every 6 weeks. I want once a night, I am agreeable to twice a week, but she wont do it. She always says she doesnt feel like it. The problem I find is that when we were engaged, we broke it off for a few months and in less then 2 weeks she was in the bed of another man and a few weeks later another man. Weve tried counseling and she agreed to twice a week, but she just wont comply with it. She doesnt even sleep with me. She sleeps in the living room watching tv. No making out, no cuddling

I am not afraid of her cheating on me, but I cant take it anymore. Ive had other women offer and ive always turned it down. But Ive been thinking very much of starting affairs. How do we fix things, or do I just divorce her? I love her so much ive just lived with it, but I cant anymore.

I am currently involved in a relationship with a 21 year old. I am 32 and recently seperated. At first I thought it was just for fun...hanging out and great sex. Well it ended up that we have fallen in love with each other and it has just taken a more serious turn. I know just comming out of a marriage is not the best case senario for any relationship but me and the hubby had not even been intimate in about a year so there is no residule emotions or feelings there. I guess what I'm asking is can this 11 year age diffrence really make "a difference" on whether we can have a long term viable relationship.

Me and my bf have been together for over 4 yrs now and he hasnt asked me to marry him yet. Our anniversary was on 1/4/07 for 4 years. I got no presents or even a letter or card. I wasnt expecting a gift but atleast an anknowledgement. There is a girl I realy like but about for weeks ago I started talking to this other girl. The girl I really like seems to not care at all about me because she hasn't talked to me yet. (My other questions elaborate further on this situation.) Yesterday was my b-day and she didn't even speak to me (she knew it was my b-day because someone wished me a happy b-day very loudly and she was right there) or called or messaged me yesterday to tell me happy b-day. On the other hand, I talked to this one girl for four weeks and she pays attention to me. She also told me she never really goes anywhere because she doesn't really have anyone to go anywhere with (I think that was probably a hint). Yesterday I asked her for her number and she said she'll write it down in her next class and give it to me at lunch. Today she gave it to me as soon as I saw her and she explained that her mom came to school to get her yesterday before she could've met me in between lunch. (continued in additional details)

What do guys really think about women having so many stretch marks after a baby? I have a seven month old and other people find me attractive but what do guys think about a women having a lot of stretch marks on her belly and the bends of her legs if she tried to take good care of her self and watch her weight while she was pregnant? OK. Its been a few days since we split and yesturday was the first day we havent contacted each other. I feel like crap, but I am doing better today. I havent cried for about 24 hours, thats good I guess. We were together for 5 yrs and it wasnt a sudden break up, we were having issues, but I thought him breaking it off was a bit harsh. We could of tried to fix things, but he seems to think it was all just to hard.

My question is...
Should a relationship be hard? Should you have to constitly watch what you say (we did get a big bitchy to each other) and should you have to explain yourself when your in a bad mood from work stuff, or friend stuff?

At what point do you stop trying for a relationship to work?
