I have been to 9 schools... 3 elementary, 3 hs and 3 colleges. I am going to write about what its like to be the new kid in school... but i have to tie it in with popular culture. I was going to talk about the peer pressure... what it would take to fit in and how much more susceptible one can be to peer pressure when they're the new kid at school. I was going to talk about the different fashions... I was in one private school, 1 city school and 1 suburban school and they all seemed to have different styles. ... I just need a few more ideas... please help... any articles that you can suggest would be helpful as well

Its not only fashion, but local cultures that may be different. Things like diversity, social classes, cliques, participation in school activities, all are things you need to pick up on when you go to a new school.

I guess I am going by my own experience...but, I would like to see something about different races and how they adapt...I went to a school that forbid another language be spoken and that was the language that my parents spoke at home and I felt that I would be rediculed if I showed my heritage.
