What do guys really think about women having so many stretch marks after a baby? I have a seven month old and other people find me attractive but what do guys think about a women having a lot of stretch marks on her belly and the bends of her legs if she tried to take good care of her self and watch her weight while she was pregnant? Is there hope for me? Will a guy still like me? I have tried every lotion in the world. I have to live with the scars. (serious answers only please!)

A true gentleman would love you for who you are on the inside as well as the outside and a few stretch marks shouldn't make a difference. We all have scars of one kind or another, that doesn't change who we really are. I have no problem dating or being with a woman with stretch marks or any other scars.

You're a young chick, I can tell. If you were older, you'd know that scars fade with time. I have bayonet wounds from Nam you can't hardly see anymore, but then, it's been over 30 years! Yours scars aren't nearly as serious as mine. I'm sure they'll disappear much faster. Stretch marks are natural, (unlike my condition), and nature has a way of dealing with that kind of thing PDQ. Believe it or not, I remember what it was like to be young. It seems like everything takes sooooo long! Hang in there. If there's one thing I've learned from nearly 60 years on this miserable speck of cosmic dust, it's that nothing is forever.

Some guys don't really care about the marks. If a woman is a good mother to her children, then the marks don't matter to them. To some guys, it's a turn off though. If you go to the dermatologist though, there is some Retin cream that will seriously make them not as noticable. Not a cure, but it might make you not so self-conscience about them. Plus, if a guy doesn't like you because of something like that, then he wouldn't be good enough for you, let alone be good enough to spend time with your baby. Good luck finding a good man!

I used vitamin E cream and coco butter religiously during my pregnancy. Every morning and every night. I gained 50lbs during pregnancy!!! I did not get ANY stretch marks. I think the vitamin E and coco butter helped along with the fact that my mother didn't get any stretch marks either. So genetics play a role too

You say will a guy still like me.......? So am I to presume you are not with the babys father? Cos if you were with the babys father he should love you whatever you look like. After all you have just given birth to his baby.
