We celebrated our 25th at Mickey D's....and we can well afford a spashier place. Why? Because that's where we went when we were single and dating and broke. We ordered our burgers and fries and cokes and laughed and talked about how lucky we are - 3 great kids, nice home, good job. If you are judging your anniversary on the basis of how much money you're going to spend on one evening, then I feel sorry for you - and for him.

Mcdonalds what is he a cheap date??? Go to the Olive Garden or red Lobster or even Outback Steak house... This is the least he can do for you! i hope that someone throws a HUGE anniversary party or bash ofr the both of you! Congratulations to 25 years of marriage! What an accomplishment and i hope you have many more years together!

your silly....but if that particular restaurant is a favorite spot of you and your spouse, go for it. What matters is whats truly important to two, and that your together. Also that you know how to assist in eachothers happiness, and that you do go out of your way every now and then to make eachother feel extra special that you have love for eachother.

Absolutely not... The money you save by going to this "choke and puke" place you can increase your IRA.

No time like the present to add more to your retirement funds !!!
