Not necessarily but I wouldn't get too serious since you are still pretty young. Remember you have lots of time to grow up yet and just enjoy life. Don't do anything that you will end up regretting in the future.

It's not bad to have a boyfriend at 11. I'm 15 now but when I was 11 I had a boyfriend too. As long as he isn't to much older then you like 16 or something.You know? But other wise as long as you guys like or love each other there is nothing wrong with that. Just make sure he treats you right but if he doesn't kick him to the curve. You always want a guy who will treat you right.

That depends on what you two are doing. If you are just hanging out in a supervised setting I guess that is OK. But at 11 that's just a little too young to be dating.

I have a 12 year old daughter who had a boyfriend at 11. I think it depends on what having a boyfriend means to you. To my daughter, it was just saying she was going out with so-and-so. They didn't even hold hands.
Can you sit down and talk with your mom? I'll bet she'll be able to give you some good advice if you can keep her from freaking out. Good luck!

think about it this way. The reason you date is to find someone to get married to/ a life partner. Are you going to get married at 11? Most likely not, so, yes its too young.

ok moms will probly hate me for saying this, but i dont think so i just turned 12 in december and i just gto a bf but if ur ready to have a bf and relay liek the guy go for it
but thats just a 12 year olds opion

I wouldn't call it bad, just weird. Middle school relationships are kind of...messy. It's best not to get into that sort of stuff you age, but if you want to, don't do anything that you might regret later, you know?

I know you'll want one for a couple of years and it's becoming more practical in elementary and middle schools each year. I know you'll want one, but it's just better to wait.
