My "best" friend that is. We've been best friends for 20 years, and talk once a day. However, lately she's been ditching me for this low life guy she lives with who treats her like crap. Once she promised to babysit for my hubby and I, and we made reservations and everything. Come time for her to babysit, she was no where to be found. Wouldnt answer my calls or return my messages. She called the next day with some big excuse that involved her man. Then she and I had plans last Friday, and same thing happened. Come evening time she was no where to be found, and wouldnt return my calls. She calls Sunday with an excuse that involved her man. Now, this guy comes and goes as he pleases, lives somewhere else (she doesnt even know where) for part of the week, and doesnt work. Dont get me wrong...if she wants to hang with him over me...fine. But all I'm asking for is the deceny of a phone call to cancel! Nothing more! Is it time for me to ditch her?

My partner & I have a great relationship & fight rarely. Last night I asked him if he was okay b/c he was acting out of character. I spent the night at my place. He ignored a text message & a call to say goodnight. I’m irrational & worried. We’ve been together for over a year & he has never once ignored me.

He ignored me this morning as well, and when he did pick up his phone, he was extremely rude (a total of 2 text messages and 2 calls ignored since last night).

He called me later on this afternoon acting like his usual loving self, like nothing had happened. I asked him why he had ignored me last night, & his excuse was he was playing darts (he’s 26).

i have had a miscarrage a few weeks ago but cant talk about it to anyone, not even my hubby. I really want to but i just start to cry and cant never get to talk to him about it. I cant even walk into the room to talk to him it as i start to well up. The courage is just not there. We have two children already and we are close but this has really got to me. I just say im fine, which we women like to say. Please help

Okay, here's a little background on me: I'm 20 years old, not ugly at all but unfortunately have yet to have a gf. About a month ago I thought maybe the best way for me to start dating girls was using craigslist, and so through that I had met someone. Unfortunately I just found out today that this person I've been talking to for a few weeks now had lied to me about what she looked like, which devestated me because we had so much in common and she was really the first girl that I felt close with. Anyways, now I'm fed up with the whole online thing - I want to start meeting girls in public/social places, but the problem is I am still too shy. I've read a lot of people's Answers on this site, and they all have something in common: don't be afraid to get rejected it will happen a lot; just throw yourself out there eventually a girl will give you her number. Yet I am still way too shy to just go out and start the whole game, so please if you guys can give me any tips/advice/suggestions

I'm a hispanic women and I recently got engaged to an african american man. I love him but my family has warned me that if I marry him, they will disown me and I will basically be kicked out of the family. I don't know what to do, my parents have given me all the love and support that I needed as a child but know they seemed to care more about their so called "apperance" than my hapiness. I am turning 22 this year and I have been with my ex since I was 15. We were together off and on for a while, seen each other go through ups and downs, lets just say I thought we were gonna end up getting married. Then all of a sudden out of the blue he says "I don't want to be with you anymore, I've been done for a while." I found it a little odd and I was crushed, only to find out the next day that he is seeing a 17 year old (hes 22) and he told her "Ive never felt this way about anyone, i love you, your the reason i wake up, blah blah."...whats worse is that he told her that he did have a past relationship but it was only "physical" and that he has never felt this way about anyone before.......so you can pretty much imagine my pain...anyway long story short he hurt me badly and his new gf is going off to college 5 hours away from him in the fall......does karma exist...its not fair that Im feeling like this and he is completely content and in love. =(

The kind of love I experienced with my ex was far beyond the physical world in fact we were psychically connected. This was so strange to me that I got scared and out of fear and people pleasing I broke up with him. I have been wrought with guilt ever since. I tried to call him he hung up and e-mailed him to no avail. I thought in the future we could at least be friends despite our past. Just two days ago our psychic connection was broken and I feel so empty and dead inside. That was the last thing I had left to hold on to. I know he's mad and maybe there's a way to make amends. My question is how do I nurse my broken heart and yet not destroy myself over guilt?

I been in the club yesterday and i noticed really weird thing , where all number of guys were exceeding chix and girls actually intended to stick with each other ( i mean most of them) dancing , even touching each other . They definetly dont seem like lesbians at all , but i was wondering whether it means they got fed up with guys . iam new in this area of ESSEX ,UK and iam black ,however when i approached some of them i got no attention . I refered that to different race , but then i realised that among white guys as well . Apparently , everyone was desperate chatting to one and that was really discusted that everyone hanging around and i was trying to understand how those girls thinking ...is it means they dont like guys at that time? ...is it having something outstanding to turn them on ? ....its defiently wasn't racist ....

Ok so here is the story. One of my best female friends recently told me that she is "losing me." I asked her what she meant by that but she just kept saying she was lsoing me. She then said she noticed it a little while ago that day. I was not exactly sure what she meant so i called her later on that day and asked her again. She said that it seemed like our relationship had change (i.e. our conversations, the time we spent together, they way we spoke to each other). She then asked me if I noticed a change and i said no. Evereything seemed normal enough to me. Then she said nevermind because I didn't think anything was wrong. So my question is is something seriously bothering her or am i just looking too much into this?
