ps- her boyfriends a total d!ckhead and he treats her real bad...everyone knows it but her. people try to say things but she denys it. do i say anything about that?!?!

Anyone can be Muslim. You don't need to be baptized or meet a religious leader or anything like that. You simply take a bath or shower (you always have to be clean/pure before praying or saying Shahada for the first time) and afterward, say Shahada. Shahada is the proclamation of faith in God and his messenger (prophet). You should say Shahada as earnestly as possible, and make sure that you are converting for the right reasons - your own reasons - and not to impress others or anything because God can look into your heart and see these things. This is Shahada, which is in Arabic but if you find the pronounciation difficult, you can say it in English. Arabic Shahada: “Ash-hadu anla elaha illa-Allah wa ash-hadu anna Mohammadan rasul-Allah”. Translation/English version: “I bear witness that there is no deity (none truly to be worshipped) but, Allah, and I bear witness that Mohammad is the messenger of Allah.” Then you're Muslim. It's a good idea to learn more about Islam before you do though, like what is required of Muslims, how to pray, the holy days (Ramadan which is a month, and the two Eids). No one has to know whether or not you're Muslim, they can't see any change in your appearance (unless you wear the hijab, which you don't have to if you don't want). Keep it short.
Sending her an entire letter would be too much. You should probably keep it within the inside pages of a nice card.
Tell her that you are thinking of her and wanted to wish her a happy valentines day. Girls like to know that they are being thought of (I know I do). So telling her that is sending the message that you like her enough that she's in your thoughts.
You need to respect the fact that she has a boyfriend and not say anything inappropriate. Saying anything negative about him is a no-no, as is professing too much at this point.

Don't say anything about the bf DIRECTLY. But say something indirect like "You are a special girl and any man (well, "boy," you guys are 13) (ok say "anyone") in your life is very lucky. You deserve to be treated like a princess." That will melt her heart. You can add, "If you were mine, you would be my angel."
IT WILL WORK, BELIEVE ME.

If you are real good friends then i think you should go for it give her something sweet. Even if she has a boyfriend. First does he know that you like her. And any ways it doesn't matter if he knows or not. you should just go for it. Let her see that you are better than him (if he treats her that way).
