this guy says he likes girls to control him. is that normal ? explain, i don't get why any1 wants to be controlled

Is he a control freak in his day to day life or constantly put in charge? He may need the woman to take control to truly let himself go and relax. and to some extent isn't that what sex is about?

I took a Human Sexuality class and a Marriage and Family class when I was majoring in psychology. This is a 'normal' desire, but not common. Although it's very hard to understand, if the man in question associates pleasure or comfort with being controlled (ie..his mother was controlling, his first sexual encounter was controlling, etc...) then he will tend to be drawn to women that he is able to give up control to.

I guess controlling women just float his boat. If he finds the perfect domineering woman he'll think he's in heaven, and I guess that would be a perfect match! Seems weird to me but I've seen it happen with couples over the years where one is extremely controlling and the other loves that. But that's their life---not mine. Judging by your reaction (which is like mine) just keep a distance. I mean, don't you think that is a turn-off for you? It would be for me. But he has the right to do whatever he wants and not defend it, if it isn't hurting anyone. That doesn't mean you agree with it. Walk on by and select friends with whom you have things in common.

I'm willing to bet this spineless idiot is a big-time momma's boy too. Guys that want the woman to be in control also dislike responsibility. They don't want to grow up because they're afraid of failure and critizism. I bet he thinks it's cute that he can't even choose what he wants to eat off the menu also and wants you to do that for him too. Dump him. You will be "mothering" him the rest of your life if you don't. He needs to grow some and be a man. If you don't it will be like raising another child and you will grow weary at such a young age. It's not fair to you to have to carry his load as well as yours. I know because I've been there and done that, and if a guy says those words to me, I'm running the other way.

Many guys like to be controlled by a woman. After all, they've been in training by their moms since they were born. It affords somewhat of a "comfort zone" for them. (either that or they have no imagination so they want you to think up all the stuff to do)

guys can be uncertain too.. i dont think theres anything to do with difference of gender.
my friends likes to be controled because they dont have to have any responsbility, they can just blame everyone else when they have to.
